We all know that during JoJo deaths the death isn’t the thing to make you cry, it’s the aftermath. Ken Senpai is living, crying proof
Even when characters dont die lol. When he watched the vanilla ice fight, and the episode ends on the cliffhanger thinking iggy watched pol die, ken basically experienced the highest level of grief possible. If I remember right he actually got up and walked away lol

Narancia's voice was really sad at 5:18, but what really hits me the most was Bucciarati biting his lips until it bleeds, and IT WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BLEED
His heart literally briefly started again cause he was so hurt.

such a sad scene, jojo just does everything amazingly, literally the death, the aftermath and anything can just make you feel any emotion
I didn’t care for abbachio too much at first but for some reason his death still made me sad, cause it showed the harsh reality that you could die at any moment. I didn’t realize what I had until it was gone, and I’ve actually started to like abbachio because of that
@@wyvron6146 exactly the same for me, when I watched part 5 I was just ok with abbachio, he wasn't too special or unique to me but once I seen his death and then seen the aftermath it really made me think about how much of a realistic and relatable character he is

yeah. jojo my first fave anime and One piece my second fave anime ngl. imo the strawhats just has too much plot armor for them to actually die. compared to jojo, the main characters only have so little plot armor that they could die any moment if they fucked up during a stand battle, as seen with Avdol vs Hol Horse and J. Geil.

ジョジョで1番好きな話。『今にも落ちて来そうな空の下で』というタイトルも素晴らしいし、先輩警官の「真実に向かおうとする意思が大事」の台詞がジョジョシリーズで一番心に残っている。
私も同じです。漫画では泣かなかったんだけど、ナランチャの声優さんの演技が凄すぎて泣かされたシーンでした。

Even caught off guard. He remembers what he had to do. He wasn't scared, he looked right into his eyes and in his very last moment was able to finish his mission.
Abbachios otherworld discussion with his former partner is beautiful, one of my favorite moments from part 5. When he says he did a good job, and that he is proüd i always smile. Wonderful episode.

This scene was scary. fast, efficient and out of nowhere. Really showed how insane diavolo was, kinda sad it felt he wasnt really used to his fullest potential

@@egekazkayas8968 Diavolo killing a lot of characters doesn't equal well utilized. If he had a more fleshed out backstory and motivations, as well as more scenes during the first half of part5 to build his personality and character he could've been the best Jojo's villain.

He IS used to his fullest potential. His backstory is enigmatic, mysterious and very irregular to the point he 'shouldn't exist.' Araki wanted Diavolo to be the absolute enigma among the JoJo characters from what I could infer

アバッキオが表向きはジョルノのこと嫌がってたけど途中から信頼してて最後も託してるし警官のシーンとナランチャの声優さんの演技が素晴らしすぎて毎回泣ける
ナランチャがめっちゃ悲しむのとか胸が痛い
わかる...その後ブチャラティが下唇噛んで涙我慢してるとことかうるっと来た...
演出とナランチャ役の山下さんの演技が凄すぎて泣かされました。漫画を読んだときよりキツかったです(T-T)
はじめは割と下に見てたけど途中から認め出したジョルノの能力に期待して最後のメッセージを残してたって言うのもぐっとくるものがある。
アバッキオってそんなに好きじゃなかったけど、この話が素晴らしすぎて一気に好きなキャラになった。
One of the best deaths in anime. It’s really emotional and him meeting his partner + the rest of the scene was a really well conclution to his character

Jojo deaths hit harder than anything, literally. I couldnt be more glad I started to watch jojo, from part 1-6 I enjoyed every last episode/panels of it.

Abbachios death is only a small amount of what made the scene sad. The music and the tone set the sadness and when narancia started pleading Bruno to not leave abbachio it shows that the characters like us never expected it. And how everyone was trying hard to not cry made the scene so incredibly sad

When you go part by part, you really do see Araki's character writing start to evolve. From the simple deaths of the Zeppelis to Abbachio's and fully mastered in SBR, I applaud this scene for what it does for Abbachio's character arc. In the main continuity (parts 1-6) only three deaths really hit me in all of Jojo's: Iggy's, Abbachio's, and Weather Reports. In the manga, they show that it was the KKK that was involved in the racist situation involving Weather and Pucci and remains one of if not the most tragic backstories in all of Jojo because when Weather dies, he still never gets to realize he was dating his sister this whole time. How Pucci came to meet DIO was phenomenal and I'll tell you that Pucci is a better villain than DIO up to this point. The religious symbolism of seeing DIO as a god rather than the devil providing miracles is very interesting, to say the least. Again, I always mention the philosophy behind Heaven and Fate in Pucci's eyes and how he technically succeeded in beating the Joestars, but part 5 with the context of placing the ending with Rolling Stones first then reading it from the beginning gives an entirely different lense to view Golden Wind from

Personally, the moments that make me cry the most are the two that have to do with lighting, when the policeman lights up, and when Abachio's corpse lights up. And then, when Abachio and the policeman are together in the clouds.
Death worked best at making you feel sad about everything Jojos is animated.
