That pad is so warm, it’s contributing to climate change
This deserves a lot more thumbs up lol
😅
😅😅😅😅😅
You are a funny guy huh?. Funny guy, very funny.
Climate change? Climates have always changed.
Matt :
Enjoying himself on his Moog One
Everyone else :
Anxiously looking at this wobbly keyboard stand 😅😬🤯😆
Jesus, fix that shit, please! 😳😭 Completely incongruent with you and your playing.
Pleeeeeze people......Matt`s sponsored by Monroe Shocks....... stand equipped with Gas XL HD’s.
@@Kkidzz LMAO!
Yeah. Use a different stand! What does he know! Beginner mistake!
@@saardean4481 if only he had some experience with keyboard stands...clearly an amateur ha
As one of the sound designers on this, I'm incredibly happy you love this synth so much. It really is the most impressive analogue synthesiser ever made.
I spent 5 weeks of my life in Asheville doing my best, in definitely the most minor way compared to the engineering team that developed it, to do my little part to make sure it was as cool as possible.
Thank you.
Great job!
thats actually pretty damn cool you got to make some of the sounds! i hope you got at least a synth in return ;)
@@kirkwoodwest thank you and yes that was part of my payment.
You’ve got the loveliest synth and keyboard channel on RUclips. This is sort of therapeutic for me. A thousand thanks. Been a fan since Jami roquai.
I do not know how I can emphasize this any more than this: please sell Moog One patches. You have an automatic client here. Your taste in sounds are incredible.
I would buy too!
Amen
Ci sono anche io!
Dit-toe!
yes.
Matt is rocking that Moog off it’s stand 🤣
🚀
It’s making me anxious.
Expressions
Someone get Matt a piece of paper to fold under one of the keyboard stand legs!!
@@GrantTregellas I don't think that will help. Probably just a weak and wobbly stand.
This is the best Moog One demo I’ve ever heard! Great job!
It has been roughly 24 hours. I still stand by my comments: you should sell Moog One patches. And video tutorials would also be extremely useful. Thumbs up for these amazing videos. If I had your skills, I would make Moog one videos all of the time.:)
Killed it again, Matt. Those of us who own it, but haven't explored it fully always feel guilty - then a vid like this comes out :)
Thanks Matt. I love my moog one, It has kept me sane during this lockdow, can lose days just fiddling around making noise but I really must dive into the 3 sequencers and get to know what is possible. your video’s inspire us all.
Your sounds are dope. Never harsh sounding (even the harder stuff sounds good) and never plastic sounding. Very warm sounding. Good stuff.
The way that stand moves, it’s a reflection of the strength you put into each note..
Love it.
Superb Matt! I just bought a Moog One 16 Voice on the used market and I have spent hours just playing 1 patch on this beast. It's the best synth I've ever owned (it even tops my JP8 and Matrix 12).
I can’t get enough of your videos - and this dropped on my birthday :D
Thanks for being such an inspiration & a great source of knowledge Matt!!!
Thank you so much Matt! I fully share your view on the One: you have to put in enough time to find your way round all the unusual possibilities, and then the magic starts to happen... After 2 years I keep improving my sounds and getting more and more ideas, while becoming more and more efficient, faster at creating my own sounds... And that’s the amazing thing with that synth: once you have your sounds, you switch from a sound designer dream machine to a player’s dream machine. I then spend hours and hours playing it like a Rhodes :) Glad to see you’re enjoying yours the same way :) Cheers, and once again thanks for the good vibes and great music!
Surely someone's told you you're an incredible musician, right? RIGHT? Your playing made my day.
I think his record sales are enough evidence of that fact...😉
Do you know he is?
Don’t know that you need to hear it, but I know that I need to say it: The sounds you make are just lovely. Thanks for sharing your world.
Great playing as ever... and love the sounds!!
Thanks for putting patches on the web shop! i just purchased the absolute heck out of them. Hope to see more!
I don't play keys, just come here for the sounds and the really chill walkthrough of what this machine can do. Love your vids Matt, keep em coming.
That sequence is a thing of beauty, Matt. 😍
Great video!! Love your content. One really awesome feature of the Moog One that I use all the time: plugging in a computer keyboard via USB to name my custom presets and notes to go along with them. Very, very useful feature that makes it easy to rapidly name presets in a session and saves tons of time.
Great stuff mate. Sounds really warm.
Nice one Matt I am loving this little Tutorial on the Moog one Thank you mate
Another rocking video, Matt (quite literally - your synth balancing skills both astound me and give me the jitters in equal measure).
It’s a lovely synth, feels like piloting the mothership when sitting at it.
There were some wonderful sounds in that video.
Awesome sample, Matt, enjoying playing it very much! No question, I'm quite convinced this is the greatest modern polysynth. Also very convinced would never spend those money :) Thank you for sharing music for masses!
love you man. amazing demo of this beast
I really think Moog should sponsor you bc this is the first Moog One video I've heard where I go "hey that sounds great". Most other videos don't seem to show it off the right way.
Ultimately it's out of my price range, enormous and I've heard there's a lot of bugs but I'm glad people are enjoying it.
I just love how much fun you have. Talent and good vibes, cheers
I love your music & style, Matt!
Outstanding synth and fantastic playing thankx for a great Saturday 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
That demo from 2:53 🤩
Played a Moog One a few times and it's clearly fantastic, but I did realise you'd need to spend some time learning it to unlock what it has to offer, which is exactly what you said here. The pay off is very worth it by your demos!
Thanks Alex!
Moog One is definitely my dream synth. It has such a rich and deep sound. Really beautiful instrument.
Beautifully played Matt love this channel
Great demo, monstrously marvellous Moog synth. Thanks Matt!
Best demo I have heard of the Moog One..great job!
Great Matt nice sounds and the sequencer ,Yes you have to learn this synth , and explore the sequencer well done
That sequence at 3:43 with the Octatrack is insanely awesome. I was thinking of getting a Polybrute - now I want an Octatrack - oh, and a Moog One... oh and your talent!
Jaw drop! So GOOOOOD! You're the best at demoing the capabilities of these synths as a true professional player. Keep them coming! And I'm with the other viewers - you could easily sell sound packs for the Moog One.
That sequencer segment was lovely.
Love your content! Keep it coming. 👍🏾
You never fail to amaze me. Thank you.
Thanks for another great video!!!
Everytime I watch a Moog One video, it's always some crappy modulation video.
This guy actually plays the Moog One. Great demonstration.
Jesus, that thing sounds marvelous!
It seems more user friendly watching you work with the sequencer....now I'm seriously considering buying this. Thank you.
Superb vid, 🎹 😎 I’m constantly learning my gear and being inspired by your lessons of groove, very grateful 🙏🏻 That sample is epic, Moog done it again 🙌🏻 , I bet you can’t wait to use it on the next Jamiroquai project 🤔
I love the rumble on the end of the first sample. Hope you are well and keeping safe.
What a great video. I could listen to this every day for years. Unfortunately my OCD kicks in seeing that synth rocking on that stand.
Dude this sounds so nice! ❤️
The blend with the Octatrack you achieved here is te-rri-fic ‼️
your sampling is amazing!!!!!!!
Dude you are a legend I want to make music like you one day man the sounds coming out of that moog are godlike bless your soul man
Awesome video Matt, the Moog One sounds fantastic. dB
That sound at 6:25 is amazing. Thanks as always!
Incredible! Thank you for this sir!
Matt, you are incredible, by far my fav synth channel. MOOG should pay you, as your demo will sell this One. Now I need to save up some money... Love your style and musicality. Even heard some Jarre-style sequencing going on in your backing track if I’m not mistaken... You are a classic yourself sir!
Thank you Matt. I appreciate your vids featuring the Moog One. Please can you do more? I did snatch up a Moog One 16. And, yes one must be prepared to put in the work to coax great sounds out of it.
Greart and inspiring presentation, thank you so much!
This needs more views and need more cash to give too Moog. Best versatile demo of One I've seen. All groove and application.
the sequence chapter: for me it is the best moog one feature demo so far. It also shows the advantage of the 16 voice while using the three synth engines in one device. Very interesting the explanations about analog feel and differences to daw sequencing. I also have this feeling with my analog gear - brings you to totally different terrain and is intuitive in the first place. Its an instrument and not a software. I am nearly there to buy a moog one and put it on my grandpiano :-) thanks for your kind and professional expertise without showing off - i believe every serious musician appreciates your musicality and gentle personality.
This deserves some Bandcamp uploads... :) my favorite composer!
@5:31 I want to hear this fleshed out into a chillhop/synthwave track. Super cool patches, Matt!
That sequencer looks like a lot of fun 🤩
I've always thought since the moog one was announced that this synth sounds like the future. It's simply a very fresh and beautiful sound. I hope that some day I can afford it.
You have a Moog 1!! 🎹🎸Congratulations 🥁❣
O wow so nice the part with the sequencer, would make a great track!
You make it sound sooooo good. This synth is way overkill for my skill level as a player. What an amazing product. Yeah it has a few things that Moog needs to fix but overall, this is a beast. I hope that Moog will phase this out for a newer case design with better cooling. But, even with that flaw, it's still one of the best analog polysynths ever.
Bought all the samples, loving the Boards of Canada patch. Your melody from 3:42 makes me all hot and bothered. Thank you for great videos, so happy to learn from you Matt!
one of those "if I win the lottery" moments xD
If I win the lottery, I'm either going for the Moog, the Hammond organ or the legendary MELLOTRON. Get all 3 and you can consider yourself a rock god.
would you ever do like a gig from your home like cory henry has been doing every sunday?
i'd love to see it at least once, i just love your playing so much, specially when you are the playing alone (musical instruments i mean)
maybe I should!
Yeah, you should.
@@MattJohnsonJamiroquai Please do.
You're summoning up the spell synthesizers had over me from my early childhood thru high school👍🏿💯
3:42 for all those returning to experience that stunningly beautiful mini performance again ❤
Awesome board and beautiful playing! 12:28 From his face you can really tell he feels like a little kid in a sweets store :D
YES Matt , make for sale your signature bank for the Moog One.
You are also a really talented sound designer.
Simply the best synth channel on utube.
Cheers
philippe
You make the absolute perfect music.. ❤️
Damn that is an amazing piece of kit
I don´t have a clue of what you're doing with the moog but I love it! it's sounds so beautiful
considering buying one, this pulls me over ... great video.
Great sounds in this video ... Warm, full ...
Sir, beautiful playing. Of course, Moog is great on his own, but it's the best demo of the One I have heard across the internet.
Love that sequence!
Modulation sequencing is great too.
I’m having to be patient with myself for not understanding it quicker.
woah, the sound at the end when you close the LPF is absolutely amazing
04:15 Such a cool jam! Amazed to hear it in that lofi track as well. Great stuff!
Agreed. Best part of the video for me.
Loving the open and closed filter sound on the sequence
Thank you for the video!
RUclips offered me this video again and I'm enjoying it as the very first time I watched it
8:08 I use an SQ-1 with my MPC for [CV] step sequences rather than the MPC's step sequencer. It's so much more flexible for live manipulation of the gate time etc.
Just amazingly fantastic. 🎹
Man what a great video!
awesome Matt!
the sounds from this are incredible! great vid! unfortunately i'll never be able to afford one in my lifetime haha
wait what Jamiroquai has a youtube channel and reviews my favourite synths? the levels of metaphysical profundity are palpable.
Sunny !! Thank you Matt .X .
Ive had the 16 voice since it came out and ive always enjoyed it, including your soundset, but lately i REALLY spent time learning it and it is probably the greatest modern poly synth. almost anything i can think of. Stuff like the randomized key press modulation and stuff is just nuts.
So cool!
Cheers from Mexico :D
delicious sound !
super ear candy
amazing all around!
Love your content my friend. I am lusting over a Moog One and almost pulled the trigger a few times. I sample my Matriarch and create pads in Logic as well. I will buy your sample to check it out! I would love to see you mess with the new Moog Vocoder! Much love from norther BC Canada!
great as usually ... would love to see you do a Moog One vs. Arturia Polybrute video ... obviously, the Moog has one more VCO per voice, more voices, more multitimbrality ... still, would be interesting to hear them side by side :-)
YES! This would be great. I’m looking at the Polybrute at the moment but I would love to see Matt do a comparison to give an idea of what ground they both cover and where they differ.
