      Hi Dino! Actually there's a reason why JAWA gave it the name Perak. It was a legend during world war 2.This is the official video from JAWA Official RUclips channel: ruclips.net/video/MaH_VSBMwI8/видео.html which will give more insights. Thank you and by the way love your videos. Your fellow Hyderabadi

    Pérák actually can be translated in english as "Springer" from czech word péro = spring as it was the first Jawa bike to have suspension on rear wheel in 1946. CHEERS FROM CZECH REPUBLIC!!

      Right. If you want to review a product and sound like you know what you talking about, learn your facts. "Perak" is a Czech word and Java is originally a Czech bike. It is not a city in Malaysia. In any case, I like the bike and would buy one if it came to Australia. It would remind me of my youth in Slovakia (Czechoslovakia). I owned Jawa but only 90cc. But loved it. Great to pick up girls and run out of petrol in the forest. Hehehe.

    Jawa originaly comes from Czechoslovakia. Perak is refers to the old bike from 1940s. word Pérák can not be translated but word péro means string and it is connected to the rear suspension. It's really wonderful bike. Thank god someone continues the legacy of Jawa as we Czechs has failed.

    I own one, am riding Jawa perak from 1 month now. And my personal opinion/feedback after riding it for 3 weeks 500kms, iska handle thoda sa rider ki taraf ho toh better hai. Long height 6 & over walo ke liye toh Ye theek hai but 5-7 se 5-9 walo ke arms chhote hone se handle ki taraf jhukna padta hai. Jisse rider ki neck ki position is angel par hoti hai ki neck pain 50-80 kms chalne par mehsoos hota hai. Secondly I find the little issue with the seat shocker. It is not comfortable at all. Again I would say 50 kms and over will give u back pain. Ek eski chain bahut shor karti hai. Needs to be fixed. Long story short this is city bike. U need to do Short rides and good condition roads to enjoy this bike. Looks are amazing, people will follow u, Ask u a lot of questions and will take photos for sure. Looks ke maamle mei kati jehar hai. I will surely pass the feedback to jawa & fix the handle placement on my first service which is due soon because health ke saath NO compromise.

      Sorry one mistake. Correction: Name Perak is taken from history when the bike was originaly produced in Czechoslovakia. It's name was from Perak who was legendary mysterious person that fought during war against nacism and who used boots with springs. My father also had one. This new version is just a copy of historical motorcycle Jawa type 11 (250cc) or 18 (350 cc) invented during World War 2. • @TheCzechmate007
    @TheCzechmate007 4 года назад

    Jawa is originally a Czech brand. The name Pérák (not Perak) is a Czech nick name, that is derived from a Czech word for a coil spring - "Péro". The suspension system used on one of the Jawa motorbikes manufactured between 1946 to 1954 was using coil springs in a way, that was very different for that era and was so unique, that people started calling that motorbike "Pérák". But to make things even more complicated, the name Pérák was not directly related to the fact, that there were coil springs used on the rear swing arm, but because the development of this bike was done during the WW2, and in that time, in Prague, the capitol of the Czech Republic, there was this fictional hero called "Pérák", who fought against Nazis. And this hero was called Pérák, because he was using coil spring on his shoes to jump from one place to another. And then, when this bike came out, people immediately draw connections between this hero "Pérák" and the coil springs used on that Jawa bike... Hope my explanation makes sense...

    • @daveinwla6360
      @daveinwla6360 4 года назад

      Yes. Pérák was a fictional Czech superhero who had springs under his boots and who harassed the Nazi occupiers during WWII.
      The bike's name has nothing at all to do with a region in Malaysia.

    Dino bhai you gotta search the Czech meaning of Perak and not just Perak in Google.Perak in czech means "springer". Pérák, the Spring Man was an urban legend originating from the Czechoslovakian city of Prague during the German occupation of Czechoslovakia in the midst of World War II. I hope now it explains why Jawa named it the Perak. Thank You.
