Excellent explanation. This definitely gives me a better sense of why there are two functions that seem similar at first, and yet how they differ significantly.
Hello there, thx for the video. I have a question. Do you know how to use project and pull (loose)? I can't figure out the difference between loose and not loose
@@PJChenJewelryDesign nice that is the way I been going about this sort of extrusion making it a surface and offset. Thought i was going about it the wrong way. Thanks for the speedy response.
Hi Pj a little help please I'm using rhino 5 it works well but the tspline freezes a lot I tried it on different computer and still . What do you think? . Thank you
@@johnsingh7962 I will suggest closing all other programs. Clean up your system disk. Dump the trash. Try to release some space. make sure you don't have too many things at startup. Sometimes, those plug-in take a lot of space.
@@abdengineer6225 You can flow anything on a surface with Flow Along Surface command. I am not sure what do you mean by "cover it in regular shape". If you try to fix some naked edge, you can try patch, or surface from 2,3,4 curve commands.
Thank you. I have been curious about this. You said that 'Pull Commands' can be distorted along the curve. Then, I would like to know which situation 'Pull Commands' can be used. I'd appreciate if you let me know. Thank you so much. I have been enjoying and studying by your video. ♥
Hi. Most of time you don't 3d print screw. The screw needs to be machining instead of casting. but I have a video talking about the concept of screw at ruclips.net/video/5OZB0LLgRHU/видео.html. and for the hinges. what type of hinge. are you talking about liverback?
Simply superb PJ! i love the way you explain and simplify the matter! loving it!

Quick question what would be the best command to extrude these none planar projected curves into solid extrusion from on top of the sphere?
I will use the curve on surface to split the surface. and offset the surface to get the solid.

Nice simple tutorial❤
Thank you!
if i want to make surface like a net wich command have i to use
you can draw the curve in grid structure and pipe them.
so how would i get text onto a sphere whithout any distortion?
you can use flow along surface. make sure on the option. Rigid=Yes
thx alot!
your video is very useful. Will u have a tutorial on grasshopper in rhino6?
I am not super on grasshopper yet, but I will recommend www.grasshopper3d.com There are a lot of great videos here.
