I had noticed that too. Way back 1980's to 1990's the military gear & supply's of Philippines Marines, Navy, Coastguard & Air force are more advanced than Philippines Army.
The Philippine military literally been at war since 1896, during WW1 and WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War and the local insurgencies and separatists. Being battle hardened, I am not surprised.
Undoubtedly, they are regarded as one of the best shooting teams in the world.

Thanks for showing up on my auto feed. Shooting competitions use iron sights and standard US rifles have magnifiers and Philippines Army cant afford magnifiers in every rifle just yet. In real battle you want lenses. I am sure Philippine Army will work on making those lens scopes standard similar to Americans.

Why? D filipinos a very gud shooter? When we are teens we are fond of air rifles though is like a toy but in country side we need to hv that to survive. Catching fish as well as birds for a meal of d whole family. To protect us also from snakes so we need to be a good shooter n snipers. We also hv s few bullets so a miss in shooting means no food for dinner for d whole family. My father told me familiarize shooting with air rifle is a prerequisite to real live bullet rifle.
