People always say that Yuta is unpopular, but considering how little promotion he gets it's amazing that he's top 5 in popularity in most of these countries. Like, he is so talented and beloved, I really don't understand why SM doesn't give him lines/schedules. SM is really losing out on Yuta's marketability, he's so talented at almost everything (singing, dancing, variety, acting, sports) and Yuta stans are one of the most hardworking fandoms, they always vote for him in competitions and buy his merch. seeing as my ult taeil at the bottom of the list doesn’t faze me at all for in my heart he got everything - visuals, vocals, dance, rap, humor and charm! i looove OT21 but just goes to show SM could do better in giving him more screen time (even when he’s singing his lines, he doesn’t get no more than 2 seconds of his face flashed on the MVs), more magazine features or heck yeah, i believe he can even do covers, even if it’s not a solo one, may be with jungwoo & haechan/mark? and pls send him on solo schedules or interviews, am sure he’ll do well!.. so far i’ve only ever seen him do KOMS and this recent cooking show feature.. in KOMS when he sang and revealed himself, everyone was enthralled so there’s no doubt that he can captivate an audience just by his voice & the emotions it conveys! but as they say, there’s a time and place for everything.. and i can only hope he’ll reap more success & recognition soon enough :-)

After NCT did their world tour last year, many NCTens switched their bias to Taeil because he is extremely charming and noticeable in in-person live shows. Popularity. After everything cleared, now akgae and haters said that Taeyong is not really popular and doesn't deserve everything he get until know. Bring his low number on merchant that sold, etc. Until finally made LTYBar drop chart for album purchase. All of that really pained me.
He himself doesn't really concern about solo project and his own popularity, but his team/group. Gosh, really selfless hence always being a punching bag and being dragged.

seeing as my ult taeil at the bottom of the list doesn’t faze me at all for in my heart he got everything - visuals, vocals, dance, rap, humor and charm!
i looove OT21 but just goes to show SM could do better in giving him more screen time (even when he’s singing his lines, he doesn’t get no more than 2 seconds of his face flashed on the MVs), more magazine features or heck yeah, i believe he can even do covers, even if it’s not a solo one, may be with jungwoo & haechan/mark?
and pls send him on solo schedules or interviews, am sure he’ll do well!.. so far i’ve only ever seen him do KOMS and this recent cooking show feature.. in KOMS when he sang and revealed himself, everyone was enthralled so there’s no doubt that he can captivate an audience just by his voice & the emotions it conveys!
but as they say, there’s a time and place for everything.. and i can only hope he’ll reap more success & recognition soon enough :-)
I agree. And Taeil is someone who truly shines LIVE. After NCT did their world tour last year, many NCTens switched their bias to Taeil because he is extremely charming and noticeable in in-person live shows. That’s an amazing feat considering he’s sticking out amongst this large group!! I wished SM prompted him more too, because he has the IT factor!
chrismunk yayyy that’s what i thought, too when i watched their neocity videos.. he absolutely smashed it with the live singing! he just has this je ne sais quoi that you really have to deliberately pay attention to in order to catch and get what we mean ☺️
that’s why i was so forlorn when covid happened and their concert in manila didn’t push through.. i just can’t wait for the day when i’ll get to see him and the boys performing live again!
I agree, it's such a shame that he doesn't get the lines/screentime he deserves. I'm not sure what it is about him, but even though we don't see him a lot, I find myself so incredibly endeared by Taeil. I try not to have favourites, but I notice I get too excited when Taeil's parts come. He's so precious. 🥰
