As a white guy I always remembered going round my Nigerian and Ghanaians friends house and their Mum would always give me this rice lol. Man I need to make this again. Thanks for the recipe!!!!
English man here but my mrs of 7 years is from Zimbabwe, I have developed an obsession for Jallof rice so rather than begging her sister to do it all the time im learning myself this video should do the trick 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I tried this recipe just 20 minutes ago and its still steaming up....had to find my foil. I know, just know, by the smell that it's gonna be the bomb.com! It smells like Accra in here on a Sunday afternoon after church! Amazing! Thank for the detailed instruction video ohhh!
Swiss woman cooked it for her nigerian friends! They were very surprised. It was very delicious. I served it with fried chicken and fried plantain and salad. THANKS for this amazing recipe! :-)
Lol. Really you guys in Puerto Rico fight over it? Interesting. In Trinidad, we have a dish called pelau and the rice at the bottom is called 'bun bun' and we also fight over it. Lol
Lol, seem like the rice at the bottom is a favorite in many places! In Haiti, we call it "graton". I've never had to fight for it, one of the positives of being the only child, lol.
This was an awesome tutorial! My rice was delicious and my family loved it! My mom was so impressed lol. We didn't have chicken stock at the time and by mom said that it was the only thing that was missing. I'm going to make it again today :) Edit: IT TASTED SOOO GOOD THIS TIME!!!!
This was such an easy process to follow with minimum ingredients that are not hard to find! Just tried this (with a larger portion) but it came out PERFECT and it smells so goooooood!!!! Thank you very much Enny!!!
One of my good friends from Lagos was here in Texas for some years and introduced me to this rice and I fell in LOVE but she never taught me how to make it and ended up moving to California a few years back, I haven’t had jollof since, until today… I used your recipe, it came out AMAZING. My Nigerian friends would be so proud of their white Wahala boy 😂 thanks for this video! Delicious!
Thanks for such an easy to follow recipe! I have made it twice now and shared your recipe. My colleagues at work loved it. Well done! You're an excellent cook and your instructions are very clear.

Dear Enny, my name is George, I live in Scotland and have lived here for 3 years. I used to live in London an had a Nigerian next door neighbour who used to give me and my Daughter Jollof Rice when she cooked it, we both loved it. For 3 years we didn't have any, so one day my Daughter (Ronny) and I decided to give it a go and looked for You Tube vids. We followed your instructions to the T and after the first failed attempt (as we didn't used Tollyboy rice, So important to use Tollyboy) we made the perfect Jollof rice, I sent the video to my Nigerian ex neighbour and she was so happy we could now make it. You have an amazing way of demonstrating cooking it, thanks so much we are so happy to be able to make our lovely Jollof rice again. So well done, I will be looking at some other of your recipes. Hugs from Me and Ronny xxx
