The relationship between the horse and it's rider for such a period is very emotional and especially being the member of service of India makes it more intense.
Realy the Indian President and it's President Body Guard potrays the greatness of India and it's democracy and wish of India soon becoming VISHWAGURU through it's great traditions and ancient Indian knowledge.
The world could learn lessons from the dedication of these men, they are a credit to India . Discipline, Honour, dedication, holding dear the traditions and values of their Regiment, truly wonderful to see I would be proud to be Indian

@@aniketmahajan5695 It's Fact : not all officer but all PBG troopers (non commission officer or soldiers) are from 3 particular marshal raises only Sikh(jatt) ,Jaat(Hindu) & Rajput's(Hindu) Other commanding officer's comes from different regiments (they comes from her respective parent regiments for probation period) But soldiers & NCO & JCO are permanent part of this PBG regiment, and they allowed only Sikh(Jatt) ,Jaat(Hindu) & Rajput's(Hindu) 28:44 [they identify by her different types of turban 1st Rajput, 2nd Sikh(Jatt) & 3rd Jaat] It's officially mentioned in their recruitment notifications
i wanted to join PBG in 2017 -2018, i m 6"3 and have NCC C certificate from Remount Veterinary Corps. Can ride horse better from newly recruited as i have done 3 years training in past of tent pegging and dressage all. still can not gave exam. Because of only 3 martial caste rule of britisher was there. Hope i will change this rule someday and my younger ones can benefited
As per Army recruitment sources, the President’s Bodyguard is open for recruitment to only Sikhs, Jats and Rajputs. But even among the Sikhs, Mazhabi and Ramdasiyas, considered low caste, are not to be considered. Neither are ‘Dalits’ and ‘Adivasis’ (Scheduled Castes and Scheduled tribes), not to mention countless other communities. While there are legal discourses going on this. It woukd this would be great if it opens up and become equal opportunity employer. And it should happen, anyone eligible as lee the criteria apart from caste should be recruited. But i think its restricted only for junior ranking officials. Like in this documentary the commandant is a colonel and millitary secretary is a coorgi. I think this way of working will go on in the army as its still democratic in some way what we need is the removal of discrimination on the basis of caste at a larger level in the country that is the need of the hour.
