You actually don't have to pay just to meet him. You just have to pay if you want an autograph or picture. Or at least that's how it was at Walker Stalker Con :)

Yes, I've seen those as well. I've been to a couple of conventions and they were both very different. He is very humble in person as were a lot of the actors/actresses that I met from TWD. We got lots of free photos that we should have had to pay for. Most of the time it was when their agents/parents/whoever runs the show wasn't around. By the way Michael Rooker was the same way when I met him at a different con. The first time my husband and I walked through, we didn't know you had to have cash and we didn't have enough money for a picture(you could get one with him at the table) and we could only get the autograph. We had to leave the line and go to an atm to get cash and then get back in line again. He remembered seeing us and I told him what had happened. He ended up taking two extra photos with us and he was so great about everything. :)
If I buy a gold pass (it says that I'm allowed 2 photographs and 2 autographs), does that mean that I don't pay AGAIN for him to sign a photo because I already bought a gold pass?

I bought the autograph. I think you have to purchase something to be in line for Norman. And yes, they allowed people to come with you to video, take pics, etc. You can usually take in your own item to be autographed or select from one of the pics they have on the table. Cash only. Enjoy! :)

He was in a car accident in 2005 which required him to have a titanium eye socket. I think he's kind of self-conscious about it especially when he's taking pictures with fans all day.
The first time I met Norman, he just looked at me and said “oh my goodesss you are adorable, look how adorable she is” I was like omg.

If I had fans and I was in Norman's shoes I wouldn't make anyone pay, I would sneak off and hang with people in the back like a normal person.

Yeah he talked about it in an old interview. His movie Meet Me in Berlin was based off of his accident. :)
