I love Richard Ayoade's personality. First introduced by the IT crowd. Still the same type of person. Maybe he wasn't acting.
It is a character. I saw an interview wherein he broke character and explained how the persona came to be. Don’t remember what interview it is though.

The problem with most of these tiny houses is that you cannot sit up in bed, I would feel like laying in my coffin to be honest. And what if you get a bad cough at night and you jump up to sit upright to get it out of your system and WHAM BANG you hit your head violently on the ceiling, your life might be in danger! I don't mind the cramped space in square meters, but I do object about not enought height.
And don't forget those nights when you come home from the bar and go to bed . . . and then then you realize the booze swimming in your gut is about to change your plans! Whatcha gonna do then? Roll out of bed all the way to the first floor and start cranking the bathroom open?

Many things pain Richard but apparently claustrophobia is not one of them.
As someone who's had to live in dorms maybe I don't like it as much as I should but it is definitely better than dorms
Unhh, ingenious yes, but I feel id bust one of those moving walls in about a week, and not being handy, well. Jimmy Carr always comes off as a sociopath when I see him doing his comedy routine, very funny though, but in this show he seems almost normal.

Mostly the stairs function as storage place and you can get quite a lot of folded clothes in there... the hanging ones... will be a bit tricky. :)
