- It's crazy how you can just be driving on a random street here in Japan and come across a dealership like this with all these FIRE KEI CARS! I NEED THAT SNOOPY PAJERO ONCE ITS IMPORT LEGAL (sucks it only comes automatic tho)

There are 2 interesting keis that u should check out bro. The subaru r1/r2 comes in both NA and a supercharged STI variant. The next being the mitsubishi I turbo. I think u guys have the electric version called i-miev back in the states.
Sadly both are alittle to early for import but should be able to do so in a few years time
ill see if I can find one

The Japanese car dealers caught on real quick that kei cars were becoming popular in the USA and Americans were buying them to import into the country. Otherwise, they wouldn't be putting "ASK" on the signs.

The Snoopy Pajero is a 2002 limited edition model mini. It says Heisei 14 on the card in the windshield, which is 2002 in the Japanese calendar

I've just spotted at around the 6:10 mark on the video that i spy a Mitsubishi i car then a rare white Suzuki Twin next but one to it. The Mitsubishi i was sold in the UK but i've never seen a Twin yet on UK roads.

The jimny comes turbo so I would say its a pretty big difference
Similar but different. Samurai had a different larger-displacement engine and non-turbo. The Samurai was also slightly wider and maybe longer because it didn't have to fit kei dimensions. The turbo is the one to have IMO, it's very peppy vs.the lazy-feeling non-turbo variants.
I love the non turbo jimnys. They are better looking & endures more than the turboed with some ugly hood scoop
The non turbos are deff a better drive but the turbo noises are JUST as good

@@WaybeforethefameJust bought from mitsui. They clearly paint over rust underneath but like many others have said just inspect the videos carefully and ask for extra pictures if needed. Please check them out. I’d like to see an outsider perspective.
