Funny you mentioned that because I currently have five Behringer synths plus many others from other manufacturers. I have the Behringer RD-8 drum machine, a TD-3, a VC340, an Odyssey, and a B2600 Grey Meanie. However, these choices are to compliment the other synths I also have.
If I were to put together a Behringer-only setup consisting of only five synths, I'd probably go with a UB-XA as a main keyboard, probably either a Deepmind 12 desktop or Wave as a second poly synth, either a Model D or MonoPoly as a bass synth, a B2600, and an Lm Drum as a versatile drum machine. To me, that's a setup versatile enough to make plenty of music with.

The RD-78 seems great. It has a lot of space for all the knobs and switches that will be circuit bent into it! Pitch and length are necessary!

The Grind is the best synth in the Producer series, highly recommended. For the money it's a no brainer. Moog would charge 700 quid for this bad boy. It's so versatile and remember it has a DX7 built in, what's not to love.

I still dont get the BX1 and that is nothing against Behringer. Even if Yamaha resurrected the DX1 as it was i would not understand why. The DX7 was a pain to program. If your gonna do a FM synth again, then make it easier to program first! OPSIX!! Behringer adding Analog filters of course is a nice move.
And effects.
Most synthfluencers get paid with free gear or other stuff from the manufacturers. I don't think Behringer does that much that why they are not really attractive for them. Then the fact they are hated a lot makes them a company that can backfire on your carreer or as company. So people try to avoid them, so they don't get associated with them.

@@synthsamuraiproductions it's just how it is. So many haters and internet trolls it's ridiculous. If you would have told me 20 years ago...or heck even 10 years ago there would come time that the brand of my music gear would get me judged or be looked upon I would have never believed it. Yet here we are.

Get rid of the Drumbrute! I sold mine, was useless. sample it and return it Get an LMDRUM and use the samples there, as well as original CR78 samples. The Drumbrute is only good if your gonna use tonnes of pedals, but still think LMdrum would be better. Watch the GEOSYNTHS video on LMDRUM, he loves it with other samples.

Arturia has become a real piece of shit, the vanilla white Impact is my toothpaste for the sole purpose of being the Polybrute drum machine... really pathetic.
They could make cases for the original Impact and the failed Drumbrute drum machine, but they think people are stupid to buy that as something innovative or novel.
It's really a commercial botch, Arturia is one of the worst companies with customer service. This says a lot about them as a company.
