Great job on the ole drill. Just got to have patience working on anything that needs some love cleaning up and maintenance to make usable again. Thanks for sharing! 💯💕👊👍
Just to clarify, what happened when you were taking the screws off to grease it and you stopped to unplug it? Great video. Neat drill that I've never seen before.
Oh, yes. It's a bad practice to be opening a tool up even to grease it when it's plugged in. Removing the grease cover had no risk of electric shock but I don't want to set a bad example to anyone watching. Glad you enjoyed the video. I really thought this one was doomed. :)

Thanks! For a while there I thought this one was a lost cause. I still wonder how much life is left in that switch but it's still going.
Well done! I like the channel direction with tool preservation / restoration!
Thanks! It's a fun hobby and i get a lot of satisfaction out of saving these tools from being scrapped.
Fantastic restoration, another drill put back to work. Thanks for the inspiration
Thanks! I've only tested it a couple of times and the switch is still working so hopefully it was just corroded inside.
The finish came out great!
Thanks! That polisher makes things go a lot quicker.
Your brother and you have great skills 👌✅️
Thank you! We grew up having to fix things and learned that there's a great sense of accomplishment that comes with it.
Looks great Matt!
Thanks! From the days when style meant something.
Wow, that's a lot of work!
Yes! This one took a while but it's a nice old tool.
Why do I get the impression this drill was featured on The Jetsons? 😉
So true! A lot of these old metal drills had a sort of "Buck Rogers" laser pistol style to them.
