    This is my favourite video about how henna could be made darker. I really loved it because it was so clear what you were trying to show us and the end result is absolutely amazing ❤️😍 hope to try this soon! Thanks for this wonderful video it really helped all of us to understand more about henna! I can tell this video was made with so much effort so this comment is just to let you know we appreciate it ❤️

    I've never actually thought of combining black henna and red henna together but I think I'm going to now this looks really beautiful

      Noooo if anything, what I want others to remember from my video is to use natural henna and ingredients! Black henna is dangerous!

  • @samrinimam445
    @samrinimam445 6 лет назад +1

    for removal of henna after it has dried you can apply some mustard oil and leave it for few minutes. Then try to scrape off, it will come off easily and do not wash with water or soap. Also you can take some steam of cloves on ur hand. That makes it really dark blve me.
    I tried this for my marriage mehndi.

      samrin imam That's exactly what I did and showed in the video except that I used coconut oil...

    This is absolutely stunning. I'm not a huge fan of how dark the tips of the fingers (by the nail got), but the amount of work that went into it and the overall look is amazing. I would love to have this done. Great job. I just subscribed.

      This is hands down the most respectful criticism comment I've received. If only everybody could take the time and effort into consideration before commenting "ew" and "ugly". I appreciate it, thank you!

      Krystal R I'm not a big fan either. I love the way it looks, but I can't wear it personally, nor do I put it on anyone who wants henna. I live in a small, rural town, and literally every single person who saw it said it looks like I have poop on my hands. Like great, thanks. So I have to limit the amount of henna I have or where I put it, because people around here don't understand what it is.

    Beautiful Design!!!! A tip that the professional henna designer did for my daughter's henna. After it dried she applied a mixture of diluted mod podge to cover the design. Once the mod podge is dried, you won't have to worry about the design flaking off. She slept in it, washed it the next morning and it was so even and beautiful.

      Kyla Fuller Its not about the skin colour it's about the effort you put in and the patience you have. Otherwise if you don't keep the henna on your skin long inof the colour won't come out dark. I am very light skinned and I always get dark stains. Its all about the patience

    In India we don't use coconut oil to get dark henna stain. we use mustard oil and the result is phenomenal. Its okay if it doesn't appear dark in the beginning but after few hours it starts getting darker.

    I don't about others but my family usually mix the lemon with the henna mixture. But it might be because we uses henna straight from the tree (my grandmother grew them), and there are a bit of differences when applying different type of henna.

    • @rafiyaifti6081
      @rafiyaifti6081 Год назад

      Some people only use the lemon and sugar mixture after applying henna and some do it on the paste. I haven't made henna yet, but I will soon and I will add both sugar and lemon while making henna paste and after the design dries so you can do both too for better results

    • @rafiyaifti6081

      @@pamelamcdaniel819 if it is organic henna then your henna might not have essential oils as that is really important for stain.

    i tried this method without the lemon, jst sugar and water, i didnt knw u can use lemon with the mixture, but isn't lemon like a bleach ? 😕 But honestly the henna really turned out dark. i am little dark toned, so the red henna doesn't realli stain dark on my skin, so i am reeaaalli lookin forward to trying this method. hopefully it works. another thing i noticed that i do wrong, is that i usually wash my hand immediately after removing the dry henna 😓😓 didnt knw the info abt water and all

    • @HennaCKG
      @HennaCKG  7 лет назад +7

      I have several dark skinned clients, and stains do show well no matter the shade of their skin. Lemon juice isn't a bleach but it can be irritating to extremely sensitive skins. Also remember these tips apply to homemade natural henna only!

    Have you tried using lemon juice in place of water? Many artists say the stain is darker with lemon juice, but that's what I use and brown is as dark as it gets. Yours is nearly black.

    • @HennaCKG
      @HennaCKG  6 лет назад

      I haven't noticed any difference when using lemon juice in henna paste so I stick to water, the simplest, less irritating liquid. Have you tried keeping the paste on for 18h and not putting any water on the stain for one day? With water or lemon juice paste you could get the same results. I've had even darker stains than this by leaving the paste on for 40h (I know, crazy)!

    Could you also show how the henna wears away? I haven't tried to make my own yet and have always used store-bought cones and the henna always starts flaking off after a couple of days of wear and then turns this blotchy orange color as it fades... I'd like to see how using a natural paste (or your pastes in particular) would fade! Thanks!

    • @HennaCKG
      @HennaCKG  8 лет назад

      The fading process is difference depending on how long the henna was kept on and therefore on how dark the stain was. When it stains very dark like this, it gradually fades when I lose my dead skin and the very lat layer of skin to shed is a weird green. I have a couple pictures of this on Instagram.

      قبل وضع الحناء يجب تقشير اليد و إزالة الخلايا الميتة ، بعدها نخلط ملعقة عصير الليمون مع ملعقتين من السكر و نضعهم بالmicrowave ليذوب السكر لا أكثر من عشر ثواني. بعدها تضع الحناء على يدها و تنتظر حتى تنشف و تضع فوقها الخليط باستعمال القطن و تترك الحناء فوق يدها لأكبر مدة ممكنة. لا أتكلم اللغة العربية الفصحى جيدا ، آمل أن تكوني فهمتي.

    Hey! Thanks for the lovely video. Just wanted to ask. Usually people apply oil before they actually do the henna. Does it help? I mean I'm not sure what oil it is though.

      I don't recommend it with natural henna since the oil can prevent the henna from sticking to the skin properly
