Oh man that was really good. I felt that. I think Sarah is all kinds of pretty.
G D I just love her, clever cool and extremely talented This song is unique and mysterious and I can't help singing along with it every time I listen.
No comments yet? This is beautiful.
Lovely tune, great arrangement.
my jaw is dropped...love this
Ahhhhhh the love iv always know!!!!!!!
Great sound from this trio of artists.
Great record
Amazing!
Wow Sublime!
What I wouldn'tgive to hear those three cover a Brownbird song.
Damn! She's hawt!
I loved the little break-down solo, very interesting playing styles mixing harmoniously . A BIG like on that. I wanted to hear some more dynamics in the vocals, however. This style of vocals always seems a little monotonous to me but I'm not saying it wasn't good.
I wish this was what we called folk and bluegrass instead of Mumford and Sons, music that's been composed, not hooks to just be strung together in an album
We never have to diminish something in order to give something else it's proper due. Things can just stand on their own.
Well I agree sir, but its annoying when Rolling Stone and music critics are calling that particular band and other bands following in their footsteps "folk revivalists". Like I get what you're saying but I feel like this new scene if that's what you want to call it, is being labeled folk by a lot of people but it's really just acoustic indie rock. When you hear Sarah's voice, songwriting, accompanying talent, it feels so organic and beautiful, genuine music created by someone who really cares about the craft, what makes folk music great. I guess maybe with a comment like that it could be construed as snide or uppity, but when I heard Sarah's new album that was one of the first things I thought of. Like damn, why is she not popular now that so called folk music is popular again? That's all I was saying. All that being said, yes her music stands well perfectly on its own :). She shows a level of skill, maturity and craft a lot of songwriters never reach and she's only in her early twenties.
Joe Sway That's both very astute and diplomatic.
