      The Judge has been her political ally. But that's not going to help her now that she and Wade both told their tales under oath and the mobile phone records are known. If the Judge tries to overlook any of that then it will be appealed and overruled. Best thing for him to do is simply disqualify her and her office on these cases involving Wade & leave it up to the system on what to do about these cases & Willis & Wade. As soon as she realized she didn't have full records of those cash transactions she should have pled the 5th on the stand & same with Wade & her father. Now there will be referrals made on them for investigations into wrongdoing.

    • @normancarter5419
      @normancarter5419 3 месяца назад

      In a related point, Roman’s motion to disqualify also complains that Wade has “never tried a felony RICO case.” That argument ignores the fact that Willis has separately retained as special counsel one of Georgia’s and indeed the nation’s preeminent experts on RICO, John Floyd. He brings the requisite experience to the team, as does the District Attorney herself. An effective team leader need not have experience in all dimensions of the case. Indeed, this case is so unusual that no one lawyer has all of the requisite experience required and assembling a team is necessary. Willis has said she brought in Wade, who is by all accounts a well-respected lawyer, to manage the team as someone who would be strong in the face of criticisms and who could “wipe off their wounds and we can get back to work.” Finally, Wade’s effectiveness has been amply shown by the successes the team has secured under his leadership over the pendency of the investigation and prosecution.

      Exactly. He got very, very nervous when talking about the cash that he never deposited, but was very proud that he paid for the trips with his business credit card (which, he probably wrote off as a business expense) ,and the Public Funds that are paying him through the business. He's hiding something that's going to reveal that he's corrupt, and possibly illegal. I wonder if the IRS is watching this... LOL!

      @@tlindsay1007 Well, the payment he got from the government went to his law firm account. Then all the expenses were paid out, then the monies were split three ways. Then when something happened, there was a second account set up where some of the money was pulled and then put into that account, and then he got paid in personally from that. It makes perfect sense.......................then there is all this cash that is being reimbursed that was never deposited anywhere and is floating out there in the ether somewhere. Totally legit................
