In this video, we're breaking down the best class setups for every Shotgun in Call of Duty Modern Warfare! So far we've ranked the majority of the weapon categories we have in Modern Warfare, however, the shotguns are the final category I have yet to look into, because, well, some people think they're overpowered, others think they're the best things in the game, and in general, there are some very split feels on the shotties. That said, today we're closing out the Ranking series in COD MW and showing off the best classes for the Model 680, the R9-0, the 725, and also the Origin 12!

There are services where you can pay someone a little bit of money to max out a class, weapon or camo challenges for you. There's even a reddit for it. I don't doubt that maybe he maxed out everything himself but who knows, doing a whole class alone would take weeks and managing a RUclips channel plus your own life stuff it's plausible.
Ok true fair point but its not that hard if you go to plunder in warzone and use overkill and grind out missions

Origin 12 with the 25 round drum shreds on Shipment. It's basically a chainsaw and you never have to reload unless you're on a good streak.
Yeah i am glad it is ranked last , other might steer away but i will keep using it. If i need more range then the origin 12 gives i will already be using my MP7 anyway.

Lol. In the beta I was using that and the ax 50 and the 725 from 5 metres away was a 2 shot. They buffed it too much lol
725 ain’t even broken people just always complain about shotguns since they have the fast ttk and catch people off guard

The way shotguns worked in MW2019 was perfect. The fact that you could tighten the pellet spread by aiming down sights was great. Sure, it gave a great range, but it also took extra time to ADS and required the user to be much more accurate with their shots. It felt like a fair tradeoff to give shotguns the conditional range boost, with the increase in time and accuracy to pull it off gave more wiggle room for enemies to react. That model for shotgun design should be the standard in every Call of Duty game.

Shotguns are gererlly strong in these game, and it is one the few games that gives you a glance of the power of shotgun in real life. You don't want to mess up with someone with a 12 gauge shotgun even he has no firearm training at all.

On point. The 725 is even more broken with the sawed off attachment. Not realistic in the slightest.

each shotgun is very powerful in specific mode/map combos, where one is dominant and the others fall by the wayside, but I've had the most consistency with the 680, as long as you ADS with it. Those buffs don't hurt either.
TimBurkeu1osis the 680 is the only one that’s competitive with other primaries IMO. The 725 if you are super careful with reloads, or (hopefully not) camp. The Origin needs to be more spammy or more powerful, and the R9 is a bit awkward...
I use the 680 with the forge tack maroder the longest barrel no stock and dragons breath. I think the forge tack maroder is better than the choke

Definitely would suggest dropping the stippled on your origin setup and putting on at least the 12 round mags. It helps a lot

I think I read on the mw reddit that the tighter pellets only happen when ADS.

Model is my favorite shotgun. If you use it right. You can get on a good streak. I run and gun with it and I was surprise yesterday I got a nuke using it on shoot house. Tell you what....not easy if your constantly running.

I still feel like the 725 sawed-off is the easiest way to kill (if you focus 1 or 2 enemies without collateral) if you don't have so much aim (because of the spread), but the 680 is better if you go run and gun vs a lot of enemies because of the larger ammo capacity, it's like with the 725 you shot and then you have to hide to reload and be able to shot again...
as an Italian I laughed a lot😂

I would have to agree with this ranking. The R90 is really fun to use so that's a good #2 and the Model after the buff is amazing so forsure #1 spot. Great vids as always man!

I wish we had a proper semi-auto shotty, like the XM1014 aka Benelli M4, in the game. Would be sick, and good to combat all the 725 asshats. Fire superiority. Lol.

When ever I use origin or R-9 shotgun ( grinding those camos :D) I feel like I am bad guy or ... I dont know how to call, it ... I just feel like human trash :DDD
Personally I only like use model 680, I think it less ''noobish'' compare to other shotguns :DDD You know, if you miss first shot you are most likely death and also I irl like pump shotguns :D

If you put two people of the same skill and gave one the 725 and one the model 680 9/10 the 725 wins. I follow a professional player and even with full range attachments the model is a hit marker machine same with the fire attachment. And the R9 is more consistent with its very fast 2 shots that have a good range that always finish your enemy. Oh and you should see this guy use a 725 he melts absolutely everything within his range (especially a model 680)

Instead of the tempus slimgrip I put fmj because on the 725 with the rest of the attachments the 725 has already enough ads speed so I put fmj instead also you could put sleight of hand

For the Model 680 the Marauder silencer is better than the choke for range

The Model 680 is sooo deadly after the range buff. I use the exact same setup except swap SoH for the ADS speed undergrip. It’s the perfect mix of power, speed, and versatility that will compete with most SMGs on CQC friendly maps
Try the marauder muzzle device on the 680. It says it doesn’t increase range as much as the choke but it definitely does
Sliding 680 with dragon breath rounds are terrifying.....

The model 680 dragons breath literally shreds people. Even in warzone. Best shotgun with dragons breath. And the vlk is still bad. Even with the dragons breath.

Sawed off 725 with same class as you have- but swapping laz for slight of hand makes the 725 a great back up weapon. Perfect for those “oh shit” moments in cqc enviros.
If you want a good shotgun setup maximize the spread it actually boosts the damage and makes you more likely to hit someone or multiple people shotgun bravo being the best thing for this
What I like about the 725 is that it makes you feel like a BADASS and it makes kids feel the pain of FaZe Jev

The origin is the easiest of the bunch I would say. If you miss with either of the other shot guns you are either reloading or cocking it. You don’t have to worry about that with the origin. Also it may have less damage but it can pump that damage out a lot faster.

You wouldn’t put the Origin 12 in last if you would know how to use it - drum mag, longest barrel and imo monolithic suppressor and no Stock and you are good to go shred an entire team with half a mag

I use the 680 with the sport barrel, no stock, Holographic sight, forge tac silencer, and dragons breath rounds. It’s a monster.
I use the same but instead of holo sight i yes lockwood underbarrel gives you slightly more range its a beast.
A class setup for 725 that makes it no.1: Sawed-Off Barrel, No stock, Tac Laser, tempus slim grip, sleight of hand. Overkill with Uzi, M4, Amax or Asval.
One time I actually, no joke, made a one hit kill short mid and long range shotty with attachments, and that's no joke.

Every new Call of Duty game that releases I ALWAYS master shotguns first. I don't know why, I've always done this. I guess I just love the feel of turning people into lasagna instantly from 2-8 ft. away.

The model 680 is the least consistant in my opinion. Every other shotty I know how many hits it's gonna take from each range, but the 680 even after being buffed gets random hit markers at point blank range that should be one shots...

I saw the origin and realised it's the fo12 from seige so was excited but fully disappointed once I unlocked it and used it... still ok once I got use to it

The 725 should shoot a lot more pellets than the other shotguns as it only has 2 bullets so make it have significantly more damage.
What game mode were you playing
