    Can we use the phrase "0n tenderhooks" instead of keep one the edge of one's seat.

      On tenterhooks: It means being in a state of nervous or anxious anticipation, due to uncertainty about an outcome.
      Example: "I was on tenterhooks waiting for the test results."
      On the edge of one's seat: It means being highly e oingaged or excited, often in the context of watching or experiencing something thrilling..
      Example: "The movie was so exciting, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time."
