The singer and only daughter of Elvis Presley has died at age 54 after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest. ABC News’ Will Ganss takes a look back at Presley’s life.

I am so heartbroken. I am also a grieving mother to my only 17-year-old son. I was also left with three surviving daughters. We are never the same once we are forced to bury a child. The demons that come along with this. The guilt, the what if’s, grief will ultimately destroy you if you let it. It is more toxic than cancer. I have gone through cancer and chemo myself, and I’ve also buried my only son. I would much rather go through cancer and chemo again, and all the hell as opposed to burying another child. There are some things human beings will never get over. We need more research on grief, America is such a grief, illiterate world. Rest in peace, Lisa, Marie , the trials and tribulations of this world are no longer a burden for you to bear. We are comforted by the fact that you are now in the arms of your father and your beloved Ben.

I can’t believe this. I was literally quoting her on a Michael Jackson video last week. As the biggest MJ fan, she was the dream. We all lived vicariously through her. She always had nothing but beautiful things to say about Michael and we absolutely adored her. Above all, she was Elvis’ little girl 💔. I can’t imagine what the family is going through also with the untimely death of her young son. She only lived 4 years longer than Michael and died in the same way- cardiac arrest. My heart hurts 😢

She followed him around the world… MJ was more than a blip in her life. She did marry Cage… and the twins father subsequently.

Having watched Lisa Marie interviews for hours and hours for many years now- I can say the woman in that Golden Globes interview looks nothing like her. I am shocked that is how she looked 3 days ago. Her eyes are open but she looks gone or lifeless. Her skin is wrinkled, she looks frail and as if she has aged decades. She somehow went from looking like the daughter next to her mom to them looking like the same age. I have chills everywhere. My heart is breaking for her and her family…

My Mom's Husband stays at the Graceland guest house in Memphis for business, and he said A LOT of reporters around Graceland at the moment which I'm not surprised by. Media just loves stuff like this but anyways... I still have the photos saved on my phone of them walking together hand in hand and wearing all black getting married at Trump towers. But I can see coming from a line of royalty she has always had the Elvis charm in her.
