I would love that MWC video. I have 2 kids in it and it’s going fine. One is just in kindergarten. But I’d love any tips or tricks for when they’ll both be in a higher level. I love MWC and wish they had it high enough for all my kids.
I would also love the MWC video! I am thinking of switching my son from Math U See to MWC. I was thrown a curveball this term in that my four year old daughter displayed reading readiness and math readiness. I'm not the type to hold a child back, so I decided to try Kindergarten MWC. I am loving it so far! I think it will be a good fit for me as a teacher.
I adapted Notgrass History 50 states curriculum for our study of the 50 states. I had a Charlotte Mason friend look through it and she was just as surprised as I was at the amazing living quality of their text book. Instead of using the work book, my kids are making their own atlas. They do their own map drawing of each state, add pertinent info, and then on the opposite page they draw and define the geographical term that was pertinent. It's actually been a great way to get some practical geography learned in a very natural way. Highly recommend! Each state also has a story of a real person or special event as well as a folk song.
Yes please! A video on MWC would be wonderful. I too, will be teaching 3 kiddos next year and don't want to shy away from mwc, but i am finding this idea to be a little daunting.
Curious how you make MWC work. I had to switch away from it because it was so time consuming and aaaaall the manipulatives -I felt so disorganized despite the organized bins/folders. 😅
Living Books Press has living books based of kids from some of the states. Written by James Otis. They are historical fiction written in the early 1900s I believe

Yes please! Would be very interested to see how you're making MWC work with three kids?
Same! Would love to hear about MWC tips. We use that too for the first time this year.
Yes, would also love to hear how you are using MWC. I’ll be using MWC with 3 kiddos this upcoming school year.

I know the feeling! That's what happened to me last year but we're making it work this year!

This is gold!!! Thank you for sharing!
Interested why the different grades are doing different reading programs instead of just doing different levels within one program
Just different types of learners with different learning styles and needs in a curriculum!
