Brothers in hunt - ptarmigan hunting in Lapland with four English Setter gun dogs retrieving.

A trip to Lapland is an adventure of a lifetime for two old friends and four hunting dogs. In this short film, a fulfilling, dream week of hunting is made possible with the hard work of English Setters. The scenes highlight their retrieves, enthusiasm, and the unspoken soulful connection with their master, all while dutifully supporting his hunt in the background, truly helping him create this experience. They are put to the test when Greta, one of the pack is stricken with hypothermia and explain the steps they took to ensure her wellbeing. This video was made in 2018 and dedicated to the memory of Ellen, one of the gun dogs who succumbed to a fatal road accident when out retrieving shortly after the trip.
