As usual, fantastic video and a cool session. I'm mad jealous of the biodiversity you have out there. How did you hook that sand smelt? I've seen similar smelt in my waters and other than sabiki, haven't figured how to trick them into a bite.
@@lurekayaklrf I'm about to place an order from japan to stock up on scented lures. Any recommendations on colors and size? Looking at the gulp isome, marukyu isome. so far i've tried ecogear aqua shirasu and those have worked well
@@dnullify100 apart from what you’ve already suggested try Ecogear Aqua katsu, Ecogear Aqua bug ants, and they’re not scented but Tetra works burny the white glow one is really good especially at night.
Be careful playing nr a mackerals Bum hole 😂😂.. They have a nasty little spike to get you if you get to hands on 😂... Nice flounder as well 👍 👌... Get some nice whiting on the big breakwater as well ... Nice on lads ,from Torbay resident 👌 Personally those mackerel would have been halved and chucked back out for a strap eel or huss ...or stripped up on a flapper rig for the big pouting and whiting..😂
Great video and cracking flounder and lobster 👍
Nice to see some catch and release
Massive flounder though.well done
Wicked video mate in my local area too, mackerel in the bum hole love it 😂 subscribed

Use a light jig head or cheb with a small hook and let it swing back through them and usually you can feel the little hits from them
When I target them they’re hard as nails, when I don’t, I get them on every method imaginable!

Thanks for the comment! I did get a nice whiting off the main wall but didn’t include it in this one felt like the flounder was a good ending.

@lurekayaklrf thanks brooo
Mate what that net you are using at the beginning, where can I get one? Cheers
It’s a blue Larcal from Japan but I think Daiwa also make a 5m net in the U.K.
Wasn't that a shad not a herring?
Nope herring, very common, shed are endangered and I’ve never caught one!
