😊 hi Jill! That rose was a beautiful tribute to a loved cat. I have been away in Sydney again. This time it was a light festival on the harbour and we went to celebrate my birthday. We went to lunch at a very posh restaurant too. They served Angus beef with potato mash, salad and a sweet dainty all on one tray. But the combination sent both mine and my daughter's stomach off😢😢 the beef was too rich for the lentil salad and the sugar from dessert nearly had us farting in a posh restaurant 😂😂 we decided to get out of there asap so asked for the bill. But instead they brought out a bloody birthday cake😮😮 my poor daughter had to eat it too because I thought I was going to spew. 😂 we then ended up running to the counter to pay instead of waiting for the bill. I felt so bad so gave them a tip. We then had to get back to the hotel in the pouring rain and my shoes got so wet that they broke. So we walked into the posh hotel, drenched, busting to go to the toilet and with no shoes... I can go anywhere but out!😂😂 Belinda
@@BeFree-BeFrugal thanks so much Jill. Yes it is always an adventure and it was great. I also caught the ferry to Manly. It was calm going through the heads (exposure to open sea bit) on the way in, but going back the waves were 5 metres. I'm terrified of sharks and being washed over board. So as each wave got bigger, I freaked out and wobbled my way from outside to the door screaming to the crew members to open the bloody thing, I've had enough, get this STINKING door open and let me in!! 🤣 the crew helped me balance to get inside. So I then swear and freak out a bit more to ask them is this normal?? 5 metres waves??... they said yes, it is very normal. I was so embarrassed but my daughter had a great time laughing at me!🤣👍💜
I knew I’d forgotten something. I saw those wonderful chicken legs and the soup and thought I wonder what the two together would be like,if I made the soup with less water and mixed it with the chicken. After all they do use cream of chicken or mushroom soups and I have made a nice chicken casserole with a tin of weight watchers soup xx
That steak pie looked so good! Jill, you have such a green thumb. If you are ever in Niagara, Ontario Canada, please stop by. I could use your expertise on my gardens. Our back yard backs onto a ravine & looks like we live in the country but it can be over welming at times.
The eggs seem a better price and Lidl and Aldi these days compared to Sainsburys, Lidl is £1.33 for 10, and Aldi is £1.99 for 15, but only worth it if you are in those shops anyway I suppose, melon looked perfect. I got loads of delicious free fruit on the Lidl app.
