The kid walking away from home did indeed go to the police station and told them he was lost. The officer looked at him sternly and said: ok, but this is absulutely the last time!.
The texting while driving ad was indeed brilliant. Sadly many people don't manage to ignore their effing phone for even 2 seconds.
