I am an ex classical pianist to Grade 6 but with all the things going wrong, I basically lost everything and must start as a beginner to catch up with what I still can remember

I feel it's not necessary using pedal to playing keyboard as it has sustain settings unlike pianos and pianos are costly too.
Tip 1 is a must I believe that.

Absolutely necessary to master the use of a sustain pedal.
Some songs may require sustaining some notes and quickly releasing others at different parts of the song. You need the sustain pedal to fully be in control of all this.
