In times of chaos and uncertainty, it's really nice to just sit back and enjoy a good whisky- and to watch you guys enjoy a truly outstanding one. I'll be interested in hearing your opinions on the Springbank 18- easily one of the most challenging scotches I've ever had- an acquired taste, but worth the effort.
Really enjoyed this review having opened a bottle of this whisky a couple of weeks ago. Looking forward to going back to it after hearing your comments, which I mostly agree with. I'll be looking for those aspects you pointed out that eluded me. Thanks for a great review.
Too bad these guys sell whisky, because we never / rarely get pro's cons, for example in this case, compared to the 10. I have never seen Whisky.com taste something that was not "very good", it is important to note, because they do have an economical interest in selling whisky. That is why I follow Ralfy and Whiskyfriend, they are unbiased, with no economical interest in their ratings.
Definitely need to have a taste of what Campbeltown is all about. Springbank may just be the answer by the sound of it. On a completely unrelated note, are those IKEA chairs you're sitting in? They seem identical to the ones we have at home, save for the color.
I'm really curious about this too, I've recently opened one and I think I've got a bad bottle, there's some really acrid notes, soapy that turns to really rotten vegetation. It's only been open a week but for the moment, I'm pretty disappointed! Love the 10, it's practically flawless - I had high expectations
One of my favorites. Love the reviews.
I just received my SB15 yesterday, watching this video made me even appreciate it more
I am fortunate enough to have had this whiskey. It is fantastic!

The springbank 15 is worth paying that bit more because it's such a good whisky and one of my favourites.
100% agree with you, Doug.

@@hankbankster9700 exactly, and they never score whisky either. This channel is really just a form of advertisement.
Great video, as usual. Thank you. I may have missed it in your review, but in which year was the 15 bottled?
I read the title as spankbank 15 and almost spit out my rice.
Favourite Distillery ❤️❤️❤️
this is the best whisky I've ever had
Catnap, I al right there with you. The 15 is a fantastic pour.
It is excellent, but you have a long way too go ;)
Was unsure first time but it’s a beautiful whisky , currently my favourite
Still waiting for the 18!! 👌🏼

Springbank 15 is superb, but not cheap £60+!!Tastes great though!
I still wish I could get ahold of those glasses in the US. You krauts are keeping them all for yourselves. lol
After a long day dealing with the nonsense. Sipping on whiskey.
Springbank 15 maybe £60 , its worth every penny for the experience & its underrated
That's about bang on for the £toCAD
60??? Now it's 200 euro's 😬
What a Zufall that i See that Whisky
👍🏻
Perhaps my palette is broken, but I don't love the Springbank 15 I've got. Looking to pickup a cask strength and a 10 year.
