Willie spoke with great wisdom here. He doesn’t forget the old days when Ireland would be lucky to have three or four winners at the whole meeting. When Gigginstown pulled their horses from his stable, it could have been devastating, but it says soo much for the man he is that he doubled down & unbelievably became stronger. He doesn’t forget all the owners who stood by him & his excellent staff who helped make his stable the most powerful in National Hunt racing. He’s an amazing trainer & ambassador for the sport, always very cooperative, intelligent & humble. Well done to him & by the way, excellent interview by Lydia Hislop.
Unlike Aidan, who you could imagine being ruthless, I always find it hard to imagine the genteel Willie Mullins giving out to anyone. But perhaps he is not the top trainer being mr Nice guy in the yard all the time.
@@waynegrow4141 ..I suppose the great trainers & much like great leaders in any walk of life, they lead by example. Aidan will never take credit for his achievements, he’ll always be praising & thanking his staff & trying to remain humble. They have standards of course & that’s why they attract top owners, so I’m sure everybody connected with the stables know what’s expected.
A simply incredible achievement from an absolute genius of a man, always a class act in victory and defeat, well done to Willie and the entire team at Closutton 👏 and a big shout out to Lydia too for a fantastic interview!
What a class act the pair of them are. True gents. Could listen to them all day. A word on the horse, looks another good thing. Jade de Grugy tomorrow 🤝
When it comes to Cheltenham Festival just watch out for any Willie's horse, his the finest Trainer for a horse to beat the course here. Willie's horse is always 100% up for these races. Blessed .
Quality interview Willie say's it as it is lovely informative person and his son Patrick what a live wire he is great to have around the stable character and positive attitude knows his onions about the racing game.
had Jasmin de vaux on my picks seen it bolt up in leopardstown knew it would do it i gad romeo too, well done willie 100 winners statue level stuff. Good job paddy good ride.
Must mention Kevin Blake saying that one reason why Willie is winning so much is the sourcing of his horses. 4 of the Mullins winners so far this week never came to public auction but were bought privately before anyone had heard about the horses. The young horses come from France, P2P in several countries. so Willie has a store of horses waiting in the wings.
Better than that Matt do da Chapman interview. What a dose. Willie wins champ hurdle and he goes on about one horse that can win one race. Definitely went down in my estimation.
The only certainty I know is that Martin Lewis will act like a total 🔔 🔚 on this forum. Hopefully everyone else will enjoy the racing and have a profitable Festival 👍.
If anyone isn’t up at the halfway stage then honestly you have no idea how to bet and have zero racing knowledge!! I’ve never had a Tues & Weds like this before 💪 And the good thing of the week runs tomorrow😏 #knowledgeispower #alljadearentwe
I've lost all interest in horseracing. It's even more anti-English than football and that takes some doing. Finding an English jockey in a group/grade 1 race in England is getting to be as rare as rocking horse manure. Races in Scotland are more or less a Gaelic gaggle with the English excluded.
Wouldn't even mind irish jump jockeys are bang average at the minute but ride the best horses. Put Cobden, Bowen, Twiston Davies on mullins horses yoiu woukd get the same results.
Major gamble in this on the de Bromhead horse but he was beaten with half a mile to go. Great ride by Patrick for Willie and 100 Cheltenham winners, what an achievement by the best of the best
@@waynegrow4141 Yes thats the one I mentioned, de Bromhead ex pointer. 25’s on the day into 8’s or 7’s . Rachel hard at it with 4furlongs left. Nearer last than first
@@waynegrow4141 I thought it was the de Bromhead one but you are indeed correct. Bill Joyce trained by Johnjo and ridden by Johnjo jr. never at the races. though it had won its previous two starts. Could he become Sir Willie Mullins ?
@@graemewiltshire312He's Irish fella🙄
@michaelcollins4704 Exactly!! So he can't be Sir Willie Mullins can he ffs!😂

Congratulations To the master trainer on a Incredible Achievement.
What a fantastic achievement, long live the king of cheltenham.
There's no living crisis at Cheltenham. All the rich one's spending their money betting instead of giving it to their employees. 😮
Amazing achievement, well done 🎉

Willie Mullins will be cleaning up at Cheltenham again next year. You can bet on it.
If he's still alive.
Don’t get this talk we need more competition. Mullins is top & that’s the way it is . If it wasn’t for him we would all be skint every Cheltenham.

what have all the winners since yesterday have in common? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 i wonder
A Willie Mullins win in a bumper at Cheltenham? Well I never
He fucked up in the big one sending a horse out that was useless at jumping.
@@michaelpower4372how many races had he won before the queen mother?
Was he unbeaten?🤔
Patrick Mullins the best jockey riding today
100 winners huh?
But Annie power and a 1/5 champion chase fav pulled up should also be remembered!😂
Racing isn’t for you kid 👍
They gave him this for stageing the mistake by el fabio I liked wille mullins but he should not have folded should of let elfabio win

Now he needs to emulate Paddy and win a CH and Gold Cup with the same horse.
He doesn't NEED to
