Piccolo on-board mattutino in viaggio verso la scuola con la mia Vespa PX 125 elaborata con GT Polini 177 EN: Morning ride to school with my Vespa PX 125 with Polini Cylinder 177.
Important note: this is unironically how people usually drive in Italy. At least, it is pretty much the same of how people drives in Naples, the city I live in.
Looking back to this video I have 2 things to say: -Back then I admit I was pretty immature and I probably would never ride like in this video again -Even though I admit I wasn't drive very carefully, the camera gives the impression that the spaces between cars were very small, but I swear I've never done a dangerous overtake in my life.
For the people saying he drives crazy, it’s because you are not used driving in a crowded space. You’re probably used to big open roads. Where I’m from Jakarta, every one rides like this. From the young to the elders.👍👍
He did wear a helmet. Check the end of the video. About the mirrors, I think he removed them because he likes to ride between cars. The mirrors can tangle on cars mirrors which can be a bigger danger. About gloves, some people don't wear gloves like me.
in Indonesia, when a vespa rider find another vespa rider, they will give a 2 times honk to each other. By the way, your style of riding is not common here among Indonesian vespa rider. We accelerate smoothly. Maybe because most of vespa rider here rarely in a hurry :D
@@davideds They're pretty unique though, especially the older 2-stroke ones. You mostly just see Japanese scooters on the road and I think this is part of the Vespa appeal
If you ride like that every day then you are a good candidate for a very rude awakening, slow down be more aware, a ride in an ambulance is no fun at all!.
it's not about falling down or not being afraid, it's about staying alive with all your body parts. I would click like, but I don't want to encourage you to continue riding like this! what's the orange light, ride safe side!
The orange light is Low Petrol, and yeah he rides dangerously*... looks like he was still the last to class though! *When I was a teenager, everyone rode like that in Italy - looks like nothing's changed
That's not a very wise thing to do buddy. You may be okay, but you may injure someone else at the cost of your fun. At the end of the day a vehicle is pretty much like a weapon in your hand. BTW what country are you from man? I saw a couple of Suzuki WagonRs/Hyundai Santros on road?
biasa aja tuh.... asyik malah,,, dia pake px 125 borring polini wah.... di indonesia belum pernah saya temui.... hanya bedanya tadi dia ketemu sesama vespa kok ndak ngacung jempol atau say hello.... itu lain dengan di indonesia
Good riding skill, you should come to Vietnam where you some riders like this. People don't understand the traffic flow in some countries are different.
People are complaining about his riding, but this is nothing compared to Indonesia, especially Jakarta (Capital of Indonesia).. If the road is like this (not very crowded and people drives well so no heavy traffic) it would be heaven for most people living in the city in Indonesia.. Edit: also fyi, in Indonesia, kids in elementary school ride motorcycles, well.. scooters or semi motorcycles (majority of vehicle used here) but there are people who let their kids ride motorcycles, even big ones.. and that's not really surprising because I'm probably one of them.. but I'm in middle school so it's still kind of reasonable..
Just for additional info, the term for semi motorcycles you have mentioned is moped. But to be honest, some of those underaged kids are more aware of the street rules compared to adult riders (cough..emak2...cough). Then again, there are a lot of those young kids who likes to mess around on public streets while failing to realize that they are endangering others as well.
All the dislikes are probably Americans who think lane splitting is dangerous. Even though in Europe it's very normal AND legal in most countries. Also we have less accidents.
I don't know what you're talking about but the bike rider in the video clearly has no regard or value for his life let alone the passenger. That was reckless riding at its best right there and it is extremely dangerous. That easily could have resulted in a fatal accident leaving him in critical condition. I work in orthopedics and most of my patients are people like him who get the thrill off this kind of scary riding. But hey .....different strokes for different folks
The bus was ready to turn left this it's indicators flashing and then you overcame him from the left side. You are an intelligence! Classic vespa is not smth for you, you just want to seem cool to your classmates that's all
You should calm down with that bike, especially with the fact that you have a Polini 177 kit. Sure, you can ride as fast as you want, but you gotta follow the traffic laws or else you'll end up in a hospital bed. It's OK if you're involved in an accident and it's just you who got injured, but how are you going to be responsible when someone else got injured?

Actually at 9:40 when I bent was to turn it off (But actually it isn't really necessary, it's just to prevent that it flood!). PX is fun to drive, you just need to feel the scooter and you'll be even more agile than me!
Ow didn't notice that! Yeah, used to riding a Harley sportster before this one. So I'm going from really stiff movements and slow turns to agile, once maybe I will catch up to your skills, but it's hard now because the autumn/winter starts to kick in over here sadly.
