🤩 I'm having a déjà vu - *many* years ago, on my 1st trip to Sweden with my old Mercedes 300SEL, the 1st day in Goteborg, a Friday, was "cruising night" with dozens of perfectly preserved american 50's & 60's cars, I'll *neva* 4get this 😍
Thanks for showing these Swedish cruise nights, I love them! I'd give anything to be able to attend one. They look like so much fun. They have some really rare cars over there.
Fantastic 😀🇸🇪👍🏻
Thanks for posting this video! i saw a lot of great cars from my childhood and teen years. What I think is interesting is that here in the USA, social justice warriors and eco warriors would be in a dither about seeing all those gas-guzzlers, displaying Confederate flags. Everyone is saying we should be more like Europe while Europe seems to embrace some of our ways. I especialy liked that black Dodge Charger. One of the students in my junior high school had one of those. It was the Super Bee (he had failed a few grades and was older that the rest of us. While in junior high, he sold his Super Bee and bought a Dodge Daytona, the one with the high spoiler and pointy front end. Fun video!
I’ve always dreamed of owning a Plymouth Valiant just like the one from the movie Duel (1971). There’s something so nostalgic about these classic American cars. 🚗
I got to sit in the Duel truck a few years ago. the guy who owns it has a truck show at his farm every year. 😙
me sitting over here in the states wishing I could buy a new small cargo van 😬
Absolutely beautiful to see appreciation for something "USA related. This video brought a tear to my eye. Especially when it is mostly hated in its native country . Since police departments have been cut drastically in size, Street take overs by drug dealers and car thieves have ruined any positive image . I miss the old days when I used to pull up to show in my 1968 drop top caddy and have fun meeting new people. Nowadays 5 cars pull up next to you and steel your nice ride by gun point and if you defend yourself, YOU spend 15 years in jail like my friend. In "Murica" you can't be "American" anymore.
that is tragic!
I would love to have an American muscle car, so it's great to see a few of them among these old classics. I never understood the lowrider thing though. Still, wonderful to see so many people showing their passion for these classic vehicles.
i think i would love to have a friend with a muscle car, even better!
Hey, great year arcanics! :D
Cars you can actually work on. Modern ones are a nightmare.
Nice! It must be amazing for them to have something like that there. They seem to have, at least for now, retained their culture/people, relatively crime-free, happy/relaxed, etc.... We used to have those types of things in my US city, but definitely not anymore.
some districts and cities in SE struggling with gun crime and gang warfare but here in the countryside it is golden
@@WoodyPianoShack Nice!
Swedes sure know how to have fun, Woody! Lots of '63 Chevy Impalas in there, my grandfather had a brand new one In Aqua Blue back in the day! LOL
But I didn't see any Pontiac TransAm?? You guys have heard of Smokey and the Bandit, right?? LOL Used to have a brand new '77, loved that car! Thanks, Woody!
oh yeah, we know that film, lucky you to have a new one, you must have been the king of the strip :) true you don't see many here, we only get the cars here that the yanks don't want I guess.
@@WoodyPianoShack There were an awful lot of huge Caddies and Lincolns, those are like an aircraft carrier on the road!
Oh, no. I’ve found a new way to feel old: Realizing that cars younger than me can be classic cars now. 😅
11.37 -You in the blue shirt, damn you look good😁
American subculture is obviously very strong there but people just have good fun on sunny day.
Whats insane? Big cars where you can cram a lot of people into a car and go for a cruise.Don`t have to go fast to have fun.Can get a bit gloomy in the winter.
I can almost smell the exhaust.
Dreaming of a Camaro second RS generation or Chevelle 1970 BB
How often do these events take place ? And where is it located? For people to visit
during the summer i think there is a cruise in some town pretty much every weekend

There is two Volvo companies, both listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
