Thank you, that was a wonderful walk around my beautiful town. I’m a Stamfordian and discovered more history than I knew. Well done! You told the history beautifully. 👍
I was lucky enough to have family who moved there to run a chip shop , i used to stay with them in the holidays and moved up there as a young adult for a while , went down recently for a wedding , i plan on retiring there if possible in the future , maybe before , love the place
Thank you. Beautifully filmed, and narrated. I appreciate your understanding and knowledge of the towns history, which was comprehensive, interesting and expansive. Very well done indeed :)
Another interesting video, we’ve only visited Stamford the once in 2012, my wife was a member of the Huddersfield Choral Society at the time and as a long time member was invited to the opening of the Malcolm Sargent Room in the old town hall as she had been a member when Sir Malcolm was he conductor of the choir. We drove down the night before and stayed at the Bull and Swan on High Street Saint Martin’s up the hill in the opposite direction to where you stared your walk, Stamford is certainly an impressive town.

Interesting narration, pleasure to watch!
If you play the video at 0.25 playback speed the narrator sounds intoxicated! 🤪🍻
Very interesting. So many other walks don’t give any commentary so I appreciate what I am seeing with your excellent history.
