BRIGHTON PIER DIVE

First dive of 2013, we was keen but the weather an viz was out of our hands.
We headed in anyway NO BOAT good old fasion surface swim to the end of the pier in search of fallen treasure and eels in the mess of disused pipe work??
After a 30 minute swim out we made it to the end where you can hear faint errey noises of voices, fruit macheins and the fair ground rides. We are in at slack tide but after decending only 3.5m was to dark and strong under currents to maintain contact so up we came.
Tried again under a thiner section where more light entered but the same again at 8m so instead of the planned dive back to shore we surface swam back a another 30 minutes back in, tough going but we can say we tried.
We have dedicated this dive to a Lodge Scuba Instructor who passed away (not dive related) in December 2012 RIP Paul Hoy.

10:55 on the clock; roughly, what was the water depth you were diving into? Orchestral Stairway was excellent as well.
