I found the original from Keane, about 20 yrs ago. I had their album. I had my mother listen to this song. She passed in 2013. This song always reminds me of my mother and how I just miss even just her presence. She was a light that shone so brightly, she brought me joy and gave me so much love. I swear she has been my mother through many other lives; I just know she was destined to be my mother and I her daughter. With her no longer here; Ive felt so lost and the light has dimmed. 🥹🥹🥹 This song makes me cry so so much. I just want one more time to tell her how much I love her and how wonderful she was. 😢😢😢

I have dealt with anxiety my whole life. My parents thought I was crazy and suicidal, but I was just a very anxious little girl. I worried about everything. I always had this pit in my stomach, a racing heart, and a spinning mind. There would be moments it would go away but these feelings always came back.

I lived with anxiety for 22 years. It does go away. One of the biggest things that helped it go away for me was to completely stop talking about it and completely stay away from using the word "anxiety". I had a mentor that helped me with this and ended up finding that I was giving the word too much power it's almost as I used it as a defense mechanism and didn't even notice it. The most important part of getting over all of this is to have faith. No matter what pray every day that God removes this from you and even when it seems nothing is happening still hold on to that faith. I know personally it can go away and you will be able to help people with it in the future as I have done. God Bless.

I feel like this song has so many different meanings for everyone who listens to it. Some think of love, life, lost ones, etc.. Me, I think it’s about finding yourself. everyone has gone through a time in their life when they feel lost, lonely, depressed And they just want something to hold onto, I’m at that place right now. I’m going thru a massive emotional breakdown bc of the pain people have inflicted on me when i have never done anything to deserve that kind of treatment and I feel like I’m in the middle of a crowded room screaming and no one can hear me. The first time I heard this song I was at the end of my rope (a person can only take so much) and was having horrible thoughts of just ending it and this came on and I cried alone in my car begging God n my dad (who’s dead) to give me strength to get back to who I use to be. I was abused physically mentally and emotionally for 10yrs it was horrifying. And I’m so mad at myself that I let her do that to me. I’m a single mother and there’s days I can’t leave the couch. But this song always makes me wanna get better and so I’m trying to find something to hold on to. Thank you Rianne for singing this for all us people feeling lost I hope we all find ourselves again ❤
