Fun Fact: I have the doll and I took out the man bun as well, but I used some Gorilla snot (a kind of hair gel) and I pulled his hair back and it created a little swoop on the top. It’s a nice hairstyle, but it would be easier to show you if I could. Update: I do not use the shorts or shoes anymore, I have painted a random pair of shoes I found in my closet for him, and I have also got boots! Unfortunately, the text on the hoodie is scratching badly (probably because I didn’t take good care of it as much as I should’ve), his ankles, hips, and upper torso joint are lose. I also removed the flocking because it was damaged, and peeled the glue that was holding the flocking off, which gave him a cleaner look. His original glasses broke in 4 or 5 pieces so I just use some clear plastic to make him new ones once in a while. I’m not a collector, so I do use this doll and has had it for a little over a year (I think).

I'm glad I watched this video, he's one of the Barbies/Ken doll I'm looking into getting. Mostly because of his articulation. I'd probably leave his hair long and braid it. Anyway, I love your video. 💖
They are on sale for $19 on amazon so I bought 3 more so I can cut the one I have now hair, one to keep in box and one for display and a extra for a possible head swap before they get sold out and jacked up since they are cheap now and a male made to move body. Because the old fashionista kens are 100+ and the Superman everyone uses is jacked up as well.
DelightfulDolls if you happen to grab another and cut his hair may I suggest avoiding the hot water in general, wet his hair with cool water and use a flat iron on low. I achieved the same look with that method ^^ just make sure to test the heat on the parts you’re cutting off before doing it to parts that will stay on him to avoid heat damage and find the right temperature. The hair came out super straight and soft and and stayed in the direction I flat ironed it :)
I didn't suffer flocking damage because I don't let the water boil beyond beginning tiny bubbles, or I add a bit of cold. I would have liked the bun if it didn't have a fringe hanging down. I dislike men and man dolls who are this pale, like they live in the Arctic Circle. Like the hairstyle but think I'd want it shorter. I haven't cut mine but plan to comb it to the side and trim it up shorter.
I was debating whether to buy this doll or not.. But after watching this video you convinced me to buy him and that new hair looks so good on him he looks so handsome.. :)

No need to use rly "HOT" water for make hair style. I always use "warm" water to wash their hair to remake and it works. I just dont use drier. I let it dry by itself as i wanted as shape. And it works guys. DONT use really "hot" water at all.

does his legs stretch out like can he do the splits both ways or we can’t open his legs fully ? i’m getting mine thursday and so far i’ve seen many reviews on this but no one showing what his legs can fully do unless it can’t do much

I think he has the same face mold than the Edward Cullen ken from Twilight. Eyes and eyebrows are different, but the mold is pretty much the same. It's also similar to Ken Basic Model 15, but BMR1959 is much paler.
FYI: there were a couple of previous male dolls on 'Made To Move' bodies - the Batman vs. Superman, Dawn of Justice, dolls. They B v S dolls have an obviously more muscular body than the BMR and the BMR also have more articulation points in the thighs and torso. Just in case anyone's interested in getting a more muscular physique for their re-bodying. ;)
