Great trip. I didn't know, there is direct bus from Singapore to Genting Highlands, because as far as I watched in RUclips, most of trip report always cover Singapore to KL bus or Singapore to Nearby Malaysian Cities.

I love Genting due to its weather. But the air around the resort and hotels are not fresh due to the large number of smokers there.
Agree, really need to get to the outdoors areas of the resort to get the fresh air.

Hi, yes, there is food served onboard the day buses, but then, as this was a replacement bus for our overnight bus, there is no food served.

Hi there, we can alight early at skyworld right? Even though ticket states to skyavenue. No idea which one is closest to the skyworld hotel
Hi, if the bus driver allows you can, if not usually the bus will just stop at skyavenue bus station.

Hi, totally understand, genting changed alot since we last went there. The new bus terminal is connected to sky avenue (where the casino is) via an escalator, the nearest hotel to the terminal is first world hotel. We have made videos with walking directions to both first world hotel and sky world hotel, you may check them out in our channel.

Hi, this bus will go straight to sky avenue bus terminal, which is at the peak of the hill, no need to take the cable car.

Hello question. I hope you can answer pls. I booked transtar via easybook for 2 passenger and the website didn’t even ask to indicate the name of the 2nd passenger. But the confirmation is for 2 adults with 2 ticket number. My problem is my last name in the ticket is missing one letter. Will it be a problem? or they just really scan the qr code?? And one more question in lavender mrt exit b is there transtar ticketing booth there or is it just pure bus stop?
Hi, the website will only ask for one name which is the one that will be used to verify before boarding the bus, spelling error does not matter, as long you can verify that the seat is booked by you through the confirmation email. At lavender MRT station there is no booth, at around the bus timing the bus will just stop by the road side, the driver will be the one checking and verifying tickets.

Hi there, yes there is a 10pm bus from lavender MRT station exit B to Berjaya Time Square KL.
How many hours taken to reach there?
Hi, it roughly took about 6+hrs with 2 rest stops in between

@@queklc1972 Hi, we booked it directly from Transtar booking website www.transtar.travel , our initial booking was for SVIP but as we booked a one way ticket only the cost is higher than booking return tickets.
What time did you arrive in genting ?

How much two way ticket.
Hi, it roughly cost around $100++ for 2 way’s depending on travel dates.
I wonder if it’s safe taking over night bus to Genting or KL?
Hi, we have taken overnight buses to Genting twice and find there are no issues with overnight buses. Generally WTS and Transtar buses are quite safe.

Need to show any vaccination proof at customs?
When travelling to Malaysia, it is good practice to have the vaccination certificate with you.

Hi, you can check out golden mile complex, there are many tour agencies with buses that head to genting from Singapore.

Hi, the max they allow is 15kg per person.
Safe or not to travel at night.
Its quite safe, our driver was not speeding.
Can sit anywhere we want?

Hi, we booked online via Transtar website, for SVIP line for SGD 24 per pax and this Superstar Z bus came instead.

@icharf9702 Hi, we were unable to get an early check-in, but we were able to deposit our bags at the lobby of skyworld Hotel and resort hotel. There are some eateries open for an early breakfast.
FROM SINGAPORE TO GENTING 6 HR ONE HR FOR MAKAN 20 MIN FOR TOLIET
Hi, for night buses, there is no food stop during the journey. But there are 2 toilet breaks of 20 mins each spread between the 6hrs journey.

arrived genting still at midnight. 😅
Arrived quite early in the morning around 5am 😅, still have to wait for 1.5hrs before the first shop selling food opens, other than the ones in the casino. Good thing is that hotels like skyworld hotel allows luggage storage.
