Finding this channel reminds me of discovering Scott the Woz back in 2018 when I was doing drivers ed and binge watching his videos instead of learning how not to commit vehicular manslaughter, except with shitpost noises and rpg content In other words it's glorious keep it up my guy
Discovering early Scott was a really cool time. It felt as if I had stumbled across this small little gold mine of unique content, it felt like my own little secret. To be compared to Scott is honestly one of the biggest compliments someone can give.
Took a break from my Future Redeemed obsession arc for the new Ham and it didn't disappoint. You've really nailed down your style of comedy and edits, and it's dope. I hail from the land of chunky DS boxes, and while they take up more space on a shelf, they're great for stacking in a big tower that grows ever higher to bring yourself closer to your alien overlords! Great stuff man keep it up
@@Super_Hambone It's great! Feels like fanfiction but somehow that's a compliment, just a huge love letter to the series. Not done yet but it's bringing XC3 even closer to being my all time favourite game (before FR it was #3 after Explorers of Sky and Wind Waker). I'm sure you'll love it when you get to it, you've got a whole lot of peak ahead.
never seen the jp scarlet nexus art before. does seem more representative of the product. the american one is cool too but it's also the reason scarlet nexus and code vein are the same game to me in my head
I mean, books do the same and sometimes it works out for the better. For example the Dutch coverart for the Ranger's Apprentice series could be considered significantly better.
i think the inclusion of regional boxes was super interesting. I never would've really considered the differences. though, you did not need to swallow the boxes whole to prove your point. that aside, great video. i love this video!
I think the real question is "who are the people redesigning the designs and are their jobs solely to do that." Because if they're getting paid to say "yeah we need to localize this, give me two months salary to redesign" then there you go. As much as the redesign has a purpose (even if poorly thought out), maybe it was just money driven by some bored guy. Or maybe they genuinely thought they were good at marketing (probably hired by the masterminds who thought marketing Earthbound as THIS GAME STINKS!! SCRATCH AND SNIFF THIS BARF was a good idea)
hey super hambone! sorry if this comment is a bother, but i was wondering what your pc is? it seems like you both edit videos and game on it, and im somebody who is currently looking for their first pc. if you cannot that is fine too
I wish i could be more help here but I built my PC about 5 years back. Most of the parts are pretty outdated, you would definitely be able to get better parts for better prices.
What's with star ocean covers being just blue. They had art for two games and the first one on snes also has. Was it too hard to use this art for them?
man got the swashbuckling ahoy couch

To this day, this channel is the only place I’ve heard of Star Ocean… but that makes me want to play it more
The indoctrination has begun.

That Tony Zaret reference did not go unappreciated. Recently saw your channel and have been really enjoying it!

I'm guessing PAL DS cases are thicker to accommodate thicker manuals with several languages

Thank you for introducing me to anatomically incorrect hyper realistic mega man. I honestly don't know how I've gotten this far in life without it.
I don't know how you survived.
That’s my favorite mega man
That ending was the most random thing
Nah it was actually super normal!

@@Super_Hambone no worries! thanks for responding ☺️
You always have great ideas for videos! Can I ask what are the soundtracks in background? Thank you!
Thanks so much! I added a track list to the description so you could find the different songs I used. Long live the Empire!
