Hey Gabs Wanted to tell you that the last few weeks I've been watching after my work. Don't take this the wrong way but I always put it on and then get all chill and comfy and take a nap haha. I wake up and look for where I dozed off and then replay. Love your channel, and I love your vibe. I hope you have a nice weekend!
Same! You have the most soothing aura, Evelien! Even when you played The Quarry 😂 But I definitely rewatch when I wake up from my sweet nap 😌😉 thanks for being your awesome self! :')
Lol, I knew it wasn’t just me. I’m lucky to have a job that involves a lot of data entry, so I’m usually listening to Gab in the background. Other players are like energy drinks, but Gab is like a raspberry lemonade hibiscus iced tea.
This game is so gorgeous - the fact that the model name of each item is included means the devs definitely took apart/owned each item and referenced them in creating this game...I honestly couldn't imagine a better person to play this game but Gab ❤️
As someone who restores retro gaming handhelds, this game is so adorable. I hope it inspires more people to learn how to tinker and repair their belongings ❤️
I don't know why or how but when the father started singing the song with the music box it made me go from fine to crying in like two seconds. That voice actor knew what he was doing
I know!! I just played this game today on my phone and I got to that chapter and once I fine the whole time, but once I heard him start singing, I immediately started crying 😭
I love that you play games like this, as well as my favorite horror games. Your vibe is just so calming and kind - your channel is a wonderful escape. At 57 I'm not your typical demographic - but I've enjoyed your channel for years Cheers!!
This is some really good voice acting from an indie dev. Also, loving the chill games and variety just as much as ones like Phasmo or Forewarned Edit, I also love how this is all about repairing your stuff instead of the modern consumer attitude companies have of making repairs impossible so we have to buy new stuff instead.
This game was wayyyy more serious than I thought it was going to be. Really made me think about my parents. I gave them a call literally the same day and we talked for like an hour straight. It was nice to catch up other than just a text.
I was feeling very tense, so I watched this while drawing random doodles. This game drew me in with how pretty, calm and neat it was. Even tho I can tell the 3D aspect of it was a tad frustrating, the story, aesthetic, & puzzles were awesome! What a fun unique game :)
all these stories hit a lil close to home, so i definitely spent a few tears on this one! other than that it was a amazingly beautiful and relaxing game, and the voice acting was so good as well. i loved the music too, it was just a cozy relaxing time - just what i needed after a hectic few weeks in my life 💕
I started tearing up right at the end of the game. That "Maria? Is that you?" and then credits roll just really hit. Like Evelien said: goosebumps. This game is so simple but so gorgeous and the creators are so amazing at writing short stories! I'm in love with it
I will say, the "it sucks when people you think are friends only contact you when they need something" literally my entire life, it would be nice to have someone just ask how Im doing or want to play games with me. ahh well. But in happier news! this was a lovely game! think I might grab it for myself to play to chill out
I'm sorry things are like that. I'm sure one day though you'll meet people who appreciate you for you and enjoy just hanging out and checking on you. Well wishes to you 💜
I'm so grateful for RUclips recommending the older gab smolders videos. I'd have never found this otherwise because I wasn't looking but this gem of a video made my day. Thank you for another comfy cozy tranquilizing video in an otherwise chaotic life. God bless you!❤❤❤
"it's okay dude, some people are just little hurricanes" was a lot more touching than it was probably intended to be. damn near cried hearing that. thank you :')
The music in this game is so emotional and pretty, I got a bit teary eyed! Along with the beautiful aesthetics and the fun puzzle and your lovely commentary, this was such a comforting game and lets play. Thank you!
Holy cow, I remember doing that several times with cassettes and a pencil with a rubber eraser on top. I'd position that eraser just so in one of the holes on the cassette and turn it to wind the tape back up. Worked every single time! Good memory. 👍🏻😊 Analog rocks (or rocked). Game's got great voice acting and a good storyline so far.
That was so chill and wonderful. The aesthetic made me so happy even after I was getting teary at the story. Seriously, I didn't ask for these all these feelings this early in the afternoon! LOL!
The music box level reminded me of when I found this old broken music box. I tinkered with it for ages but couldn’t figure out how to properly fix it. I don’t think I had all the right parts considering it’s probably older then I am. I would move the cylinder thingy with my hand to listen to it. I wish I had brought it with me when I moved. This game hit a little close to home too. I went no contact with my father a year ago and now he’s divorced my stepmom and is dating an old family friend. He seems just as stuck in his ways as when I left. I wish things were solved as easily as they are in games…

Also, I wanted to add that because Gab plays such wildly different ends of the spectrum for content is exactly the reason why I've followed her for 3 and a half years exactly this month. She's a chill person even if it's horror games and she gives off best friend vibes.
Photosensitivity epilepsy is extremely rare! If anything think of other types of seizures that no one else cares about! Such as non convulsive seizures! I wasn’t prepared to cry today ;-; what a beautiful story. Really hit me hard, since I moved halfway across the U.S. away from my family less than a year ago
Geared up at Izzys and Joseph’s story, as someone who has a single father who was always busy with work (especially while I was in elementary/ early middle school) it hit just a little too close to home for me
That part about how she hadn't spoken to her parents in over a year made me cry. My father died of Covid back in November, and I hadn't spoken with him in maybe three years. And I've been feeling so so guilty over it. I love my father. We just.. didn't really understand each other. Which is why we didn't talk.. but it was mostly on my end. I just avoided it for so long. And now I can't talk to him anymore. So that part really hit me hard. The whole story is really meaningful for me. Thank you for sharing this one. I've been missing him really hard the last few days.
This video and the organization video showed up recommended for me recently. I love your videos now. You’re so calm and relaxed it’s helped with my anxiety and let’s me unwind.
whenever Gab releases an hour long video, i would watch it as i write. Since I know im entering for a great envoy. It helps me to write better watching
I love this game! Remembered when I played it all at once from apple arcade. Not only is the puzzle fun per se, but the colors and soothing vibe are also amazing. I was like "No, this is so much fun, I want more!"
Im so glad seeing you post! Just 2 days ago i had pulled a muscle in my stomach durring work and am slightly bedbound due to the pain it has put me in so these videos are super nice to relax to
I put on the aesthetic calming videos before bed to help me sleep. Not saying they are boring the just relax me to the point I can sleep. Thank you for making these videos.♥️
I played this on Apple Arcade and I LOVED it. I wish there was more but the story was just perfect as is. I'm so happy you played it! It's super cozy and heartwarming!
It's really fun and quite easy to fix things since i myself am a tiny fixer, like my father. Only issue is where to get replacable parts. This was fun the watch, very satisfying
I love how chill you are, this is the most relaxing gameplay I’ve had the pleasure of watching. Thank you for such cool content with games I’ve never heard of. ❤️
I love how casual your videos are! It’s so chill almost like your streaming because I don’t see many jump cuts and when I do they’re really nice and how you looked up what the guys name was bc one of the voices reminded you of it. Had a bad day, this sort of lowkey chill game with my fav youtuber is absolutely what I need to unwind with after my dinner!
I love how casual your videos are! It’s so chill almost like your streaming because I don’t see many jump cuts and when I do they’re really nice and how you looked up what the guys name was bc one of the voices reminded you of it. I guess all I’m trying to say is that it’s really nice and homey, and I’m glad I started watching your videos!
