Hey guys! In this video we will continue to talk about the movies that inspired the developers from Rockstar Games when they created their games, and specifically, we will look at all the existing references to movies in GTA San Andreas.

This is why GTA San Andreas is the goat,a legendary game, filled with legendary characters, inspired by legendary movies and backed up with legendary tracks. 💯 Percent legendary.
They even got the casting of San Andreas down to the T…. They could’ve done a live remake with the original voice actors and it still would‘ve been a huge hit within the community.
4:35 Small trivia: The guy in the white t-shirt (Clifton Collins Jr.) is the same actor who then voiced Cesar Vialpando in the game.

There's quite a few references to media in the music too. All samples for The Prodigy's Out of Space (released in 1992 funnily enough) are featured in various radio stations (Critical Beatdown, and I Chase The Devil). The Isley Brother's Between the Sheets is a reference to Notorious BIG's Big Poppa. Many songs in Master Sounds were also featured in Guy Ritchie films. Many songs in Bounce FM, K-Jah, and Master Sounds were also sampled in various popular hip-hop songs, some of which are even featured in Radio Los Santos and Playback FM.
This is one of the best GTA San Andreas videos I've seen! I'm looking forward to the GTA 4 video!

It’s funny that this popped up because I’m currently downloading a mod called GTA San Andreas Stories, where we play as Cesar’s cousin, Jose.
Also, I almost corrected you on Sweet’s name, but I’m not used to people calling him by his real name, Sean-glad I caught myself! 😆
Fun fact: Frank Tenpenny actually could have left CJ alone after warning him to stay away from him and Big Smoke. However, things got complicated due to internal affairs and other factors, which would have led to Tenpenny being locked up himself. Instead, he realized he could use CJ to do his dirty work and take care of certain problems. This, in turn, ultimately led to his downfall. So, Tenpenny had two choices: let nature take its course and face prison time, or manipulate CJ into eliminating key witnesses so he could walk free due to a lack of evidence. Unfortunately for him, that plan resulted in his demise.

This has been common knowledge for a long time, the movie references are there to refer to what inspired the trilogy GTA3 (Goodfellas) GTA Vice City (Scarface) GTA San Andreas (Boyz in the Hood) even GTAV got it's inspiration from (The Sopranos) but I don't know if the next entry will be inspired by a semi modern crime saga since Dan Houser left the company, to be honest I'm actually concerned about it
@@Swannonymous GTA 6 will be inspired by many heist movies, especially the Bonnie and Clyde style ones. I will talk more about this in one of the next videos.

@JUNGBLACK-B5 Yeah, but since none of Samuel L Jackson's characters were the inspiration for officer Tenpenny, I decided not to talk about it in the video. By the way, there is a film in Samuel L Jackson's career where he played a bad cop, called Lakeview Terrace, but it was filmed after the release of GTA San Andreas.

It's worth noting that later on in the story Big Smoke becomes OG Loc's manager, they're both heard yogether being interviewed in WCTR radio. It seems to be based on Suge Knight - 2Pac relation, that is big bald gangster managing wannabe-gangster rapper career, seeing as OG Loc is even slightly similar to 2Pac in appearance. Apart from that, amazing video
