Any aftermarket DP will make your car louder wether its catless or Highflow catted. The tone difference will depend on the exhaust setup you will have. For instance, this exhaust on here is meant for street, it has resonator and muffler therefore it sounds deeper. If you want a louder setup, you will have to go with race exhausts like the DDR from greddy, it's a full 3 inch pipe set up.
@@mattquila4039 I have an HKS Hipower Muffler (catback). I love the tone, but want it slightly louder without losing the tone. Should I add a FP, Hiflow DP, or catted DP?
@@D3athduo If you do a downpipe, thats automatically going to change the tone of the exhaust. However, if you get a catless DP, tendency of it getting too much rasp is high, if you go with catted DP, it'll stay on the deep side but a little bit louder.
Catted is basically quiter than the catless. If you go catless, like my wifes car has, it will be louder, you will hear some hissing noise and you smell the good ole gas fumes. But if you are looking forward to give it all out on your car, I'd go catless, but make sure your state inspections allows it. You can check out my catless video of the civic on my other video.
@@mattquila4039 thanks man and yeah I’m in Ontario so no etest thank god. 87 Mustang is catless but wasn’t sure what this little 1.5 would sound like. Street exhaust already sounds good but want more power. I will for sure look at the other video !
wish we had a driving clip this sounds perfect! can't believe its not louder with the downpipe. 10/10
Thanks for sharing! Hope you are loving it.
I love it so much
How many times have you been pulled over?
your running catless or catted dp/fp?
It is Catted
Is that rear fender stock or did you order it? and if you did where.
It’s stock
Does this downpipe make your car sound any louder? I know that its catted but im trying to stay in the more leagal realm of things

Respect but a little to low and choked sounding to me. I was looking at the Greddy for mine, there's some good videos comparing sounds clips out there
How do you like the sound of the catted downpipe? Been bouncing between catted or cat less

Is this the street or the race exhaust?
Its the street brother
notice any power gains?
Yes huge power gains, paired with Phearable tune
Fun fact: Hold the gas pedal when u start ur car for better sound. I’m pretty sure it’s bad for the car but I still do it to make it sound better
I hope this is pure sarcasm.
