Dear Alberto, dear Korea Symphony. Thank you so much for this stunning perfomance. It is truly the greatest piece of performance art of this decade. It brings the thoughts immediately to the likes of Abramovich and Evaristti. Only here, the gold fish is served up for us already blended to its final form and served to us as a razor sharp comment on the ivory tower of today's art critiques. Not only are you excoriating the post factual society of late capitalism, you're also telling an intriguing story of rise and fall not heard more concise since Gibbon. The contrasts between soloist and orchestra equals the pomp of the last emperor of Western Rome ruling nothing more than the swamps of Padua. Your stage presence is coated in imperial purple and gilded with prescious mosaics and meanwhile Strauss and Stefan Zweig's "World of Yesterday" is meeting the same fate as the walls of Jericho. Again, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for saying through music what the rest of us only dare to think.
You're a brave man Alberto. I've relatively recently retired from playing the horn; this concerto was one of my favourite practice pieces. I only performed it in my youth. Bravo for sharing
