I love this man he is truly wonderful. I remember listening to his songs when I was 4 years old. I'm going to be 60 this year. I am so glad he decided to start playing these songs again. I was able to see him perform them live last year and what a show. One hit after another. It's still blows my mind to think I was able to go and hear those songs live. You're great John Fogerty, a classic.

Think of how many songs our favorite bands have written but didn't feel they were good enough, so they are locked away in a vault. It's been proven time and time again that an amazing song can't be planned.
I wish all of our favorite bands would just release EVERYTHING and let us decide.

Great song but any song with a good hook that gets a lot of airplay is a HUGE factor too. In those days it was very hard to get your songs out to the public. Today if an unknown artist wrote a song like that and posted for free online no one would hear it. People like what they are familiar with. Great hook, great vocal, and really meaningless lyrics. Don't discount generations hearing it in movies for decades either.
