Thank you! This helped so so so much!! I needed help with this at school so i asked my geography teacher for help and she just got another student to 'help' me. But this was great I finally understand now! Thank you
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته Sir I have my IGCSE geography p2 (map skills) this Tuesday and i am soo glad i watched your videos ... Thanks a lot I hope i get an A* and i subscribed :) hh
Thanks, this taught me how to draw a proper cross-section, the ones on my textbook are a little more complicated than this one , as they include rivers and ups and downs of the same hill, but don't mind it at all, once again thanks.
Are you from Fiji? I have actually considered moving there as I have heard good things about Fiji. Do you think it's possible to find a job there in an international school? Would you recommend moving there? Oh, and I always cheer for the Fijian 7's team if South Africa is knocked out.
@@fish9529 i highly recommend you move here. There are a number of international schools you can teach at in Fiji. Come and enjoy the tropics. Ohh..and thanks for cheering for Fiji😍
hey, thanks alot for this, im about to sit for my IGCSE geography skills paper the day after tomorrow and it really helped. But i do have a question. Im not sure if they may give us the diagram on which you drew the slop. Should i just draw it as if im drawing the diagram for a bar chart, placing each number as it increases but on the right and left side? is it also a must to put the dotted lines across the chart or can i put a full straight line? thanks though!!!! will refer you to all my friends who are struggling
Hi! Sorry for the late reply. I might be wrong, but I think it all depends on what they expect from you and how they ask the question. The way I see it is that if you understand the concept you'll be fine. I've checked out a few websites but couldn't find any specific information. Maybe these links below will help. Could you please give some feedback after your test? It might shed more light on the matter. greenfieldgeography.wikispaces.com/IGCSE+and+GCSE+Geography+Skills+%28Paper+2%29 www.cie.org.uk/programmes-and-qualifications/cambridge-igcse-geography-0460/past-papers/
Thanks so so much again! you've really helped me. I'm going to check the links right now and practice further on. Yes, i would also give you some feedback after the test and if you don't mind, do you have an email address that i may contact you for some questions on the geography alternative coursework paper?
You can send your questions to the following email address: edufishman@gmail.com. I will do my best to answer your questions asap - I am a full-time teacher, so I may not always be able to respond immediately but I'll do my best. I hope the test goes well!
bruv too cool anyone can understand wow!! this video helped me a lot.thank you so much for posting this.it was so easy to understand your tutorial😊😊😊 keep up your good work👍👍👌👌
Thanks for the suggestion Maddison. I've been busy editing a few other videos, but as soon as they're completed I'll see what I can do for you. I hope the studies go well!
Hi Lloyd, I'm not 100% sure what you mean. What I can say, is that I didn't necessarily concentrate on whether the vertical scale was accurate (not exaggerated, etc.) for this video. The main purpose of the video is to understand how to draw a cross section, but if you would like to fin out more information on the vertical scale, I have made a video on vertical exaggeration which includes some info on the vertical scale. Here it is:ruclips.net/video/wGnoU0HbbP0/видео.html
Thanks mr fish but i have a question, whats the distance between the vertical lines that you drew to place your marked paper on. Do we use the scale given in the graph???
I love how MR Fish keep the videos short and straight to the point.
