after 5 years of living at the beach and mountains. I finally bought in san juan del sur nicaragua.. playa marsella. bosques del mar development . i love the beach. . the place has everything I like , including pizza nite at the Machete cafe/market. panama and costa rica are expensive compared to Nica. its my favorite country.
This is the first home I've noticed has a ceiling fan in the shower AND in the closet! *Hot and humid?*

We lived across the street from the Pacific ocean in Panama City and found our clothes, bed sheets and everything to be very WET even though we had machines to take the water out of the air - and then there is the mold problem. I got sick from the mold and we moved further inland. It solved the problem. So, if you are going to live at the beach, I suggest solar panels for the a/c, air conditioning - cuz you are going to running it a lot. And you are going to have to run fans all the time too. Fans are cheaper. Ultimately, the closer you are to the beach, the more humidity. The home is pretty; I would offer $150,000.00 unfurnished. When you buy or build a home in Panama, you have to think of it as a long term investment. I would want that investment to be further away from the ocean. The other thing you have to think about is; how far do you have to drive to get to a hospital or get groceries? My question to the realtor is: Do you have any homes in El Valle for $150,000.00 range?
