    Wow nice presentation.
Can you present an example of product part which is having more operations to know operations and other process..? Micro part and medium part.

Excellent video Sr, how we can fix the spring back effect?

Suppose if the bend radius is equal the sheet thickness as per guidelines, there is no need to consider grain direction ?

We need to consider the grain direction to avoid the cracks.
And bend radius equal or greater than thickness.

In first video foil thickness mentioned as less than .15mm and sheetmetal thickness between .15mm to 6.35mm,
These values varying in this video
    Which values are correct?

    • @MechanicalDesignAdda
      @MechanicalDesignAdda  Месяц назад

Actually this values are taken from different source
But in actual, it's depends on the application where we use foil and the requirement
Generally considered to be less than 0.2 mm in thickness. Foil is often used for packaging, insulation, and various household items.
So you can consider this as general value and but it will be more as per application.

You are wrong about grain direction. Bending should be done in the direction of grain to avoid cracking.

      Hello,
I explained in video correctly where I used term like parallel and normal, if you see the picture of grain direction
If bend line is normal to grain direction is feasible and there is no cracking
If bend line is along the grain direction there will be cracking of material
But you are right where bending should be done along the direction of grain to avoid cracking
If consider bend line it will be normal that I am tried to explain in video
Bending direction and bend line are different
      But you understand correctly 🙂
