- What an epic trip this turned out to be! Spa-Francorchamps is such an iconic track, and the Nürburgring has to be on every petrol (and diesel) head's bucket list.
We decided that our Audi A5 Project would make a perfect 'Ring weapon, with enough power and torque to not get overtaken by even the best driver in a Toyota Yaris, with the Quattro Four Wheel Drive system, ABS and Traction Control to keep us on the track while we attempted to learn the track. We then decided late on that it would be rude not to at least try out the CitiGo on track, so we went full steam ahead preparing the cars!

Loved this, the contrast between the 2 cars going around the track made me laugh, citygo was loud angry and on edge whereas the A5 just needed a bit of classical music playing in the background whilst on their Sunday afternoon drive. Both got the job done really well and are a credit to darkside developments. Keep it up, and don't forget to wipe the coal off the A5's rear end after a day's racing lol.
@ 37.15 when the citygo is hanging with that Porsche, legend! 😂😂👍👍 I can just imagine the poor blokes face when he looked in the mirror and seen it latched onto his tailpipe, just brilliant.

You guys were rippen around that track pretty dam fast. Good vlog, really enjoyed it. Cars are running great. The A5 was sitting at 0.8 to 1.0g a fair bit. Impressive. Love the sound of the v6 tdi.

Did you have any battles with the pinder mk2? Looks like a good trip, Also do you guys know if anyone makes a bigger intercooler for a 1.5 tdci fiesta 75 bhp 2015 sorry its a Ford I really miss my ibiza I had before.

How does Nurburgring tolerate soot? Highly tuned diesels mainly?
they dont care about a lot of things but you might get a black flag if you are smoking the place out
Is the craffter van remapped ? stick some big turbo on and injectors and you are good to go.
Yes its likely around 150hp from the stock 109hp, 80mph on the Autobahn with the Citigo on the back is fine.

You shoud try to make a mid engine 3.0 v6 VW up on the r5 maxiturbo style.

Both. The A5 was the worst. Look at other nurburg lap vids. Needs to be closer to windscreen so you can properly see the speed of straights, apexs, under/oversteer and of course all the expensive off the shelf cars you are smokin....

I think you guys should edit these videos to be more compact. These long monotone talking bits can get quite boring at times... Otherwise great stuff, I own a A5 just like that with the same engine and a stage 1 remap :)
