And both theories are fortified by the fact that even before having any kind of power, Rimuru didnt had any problem getting near veldora, who during that time never suppressed his power and was common sense that no one could get near him. Meaning that rimuru soul was already compatible to true dragon factors, indicating his potential and also possibility of being veldanava reborn or a new true dragon who would reign as the second creator god (i believe in the first option, of veldanava possibly choosing to revive himself without memories to start himself again but maintaining his personality, and Lucia/ciel waiting for the day he would eventually return to the cardinal world and they could be together again)

Although Zalario doesn't get much screen time, his tendency to overthink and get lost in thought is very obvious. So when faced with Rimuru's absurd existence, it leaves him particularly shocked. I ridicule faith in real life as people turning their brains off and not being willing to think. But I think what we see in Tensura is more of what faith is supposed to be - genunine wonder at things so amazing they CAN'T be comprehended. They keep calling Rimuru things like "beyond common sense", absurd, crazy, over the top... Because it has started actually getting to that point that Rimuru IS beyond the vast majority of them in what they're capable of.
