Psalm 8 is Pastor David's text this morning. It is a "praise psalm," praising God and celebrating human dignity. It begins and ends with this sentence: "O Lord, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth!"
In this vast universe, what is our place in a world that is much bigger and much older than we are? We are not called to dominate the creation or our neighbors. God requires of us that we treat this planet and all who live here with respect. We are called to be stewards of this planet which the Creator has given us as our home.
