I've watched hundreds of videos and sat through dozens of thunderstorms, but I've never heard such powerful, majestic thunder before, nor have I ever heard it captured so fantastically on video. Breathtaking work. I wish there was a Love button for this video.
Yea I heard Thunder like that in Quebec some days ago. The bolt was maybe 4 miles away and there were only a few bolts of lightning from the storm but they were abnormally loud with a pressure wave that shook my car. I was checking the clouds and have the impression that these loud bolts come from very high altitude and therefore are very powerful.
Great idea, standing outside in a thunderstorm, especially with trees all around. 🙄 I have heard thunder like this many, many times. Some of it is almost deafening.
