Serge Broslavsky's GH5 setup with Zoom H5, monopod, light, some DIY, some from Aliexpress

Serge Broslavsky is a Project Manager at Linaro, he is filming a documentary about Upstreaming. Here he shows his Panasonic GH5 camera equipment which features the Panasonic 12-35 f/2.8 markII lens, Zoom H5 audio recorder, Zoom SSH-6 MS (stereo shotgun) capsule, Polsen OLM-20 Dual Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, DIY female TRS to dual male XLR cable. And from Aliexpress the Innorel H60 video head, Innorel RM80 video monopod with F-01 mini-tripod base for monopod, Long arca swiss style plate with dual flexible flash holders (both removed), QR-50 QR Plate Adapters (arca swiss style), 11" Magic Arm, 7" Magic Arm, Yongnuo YN300 video light, BB-6 fake NP-F battery (uses 6xAA), Boya BY-C10 shoe shockmount for audio recorder, Acoustic foam screen for shotgun microphone and more.

Best about this video is how the Sony camcorder gives more than good enough PQ for this vlogging purpose and especially never messes up with the autofocus. Unlike the Gh5.

You cannot imagine how much I wish the GH5 had a good autofocus performance! I would have switched to GH5 on day 1 if only it could autofocus reliably. Instead I have been stuck for the past 2 and a half years still yet on my Sony AX53 (which I just broke though just recently) which has been great on thousands of my videos that I have filmed with it, though I wish it did a brighter image, I wish it had some bit more bokeh, I wish it had a better image stabilizer and I wish it did 4K60 on dual SD cards, I hope Sony releases new cameras at CES a couple weeks from now I'll go there to check it out.

Charbax Truth is modern camcorders are much better than their reputation: Fast, solid IBIS, workable codecs with more-than-good-enough-PQ. Add good AF to it, like the latest Sony Ax700/Z-90, and you are good to go. With my Pana half of the footage sucks due to hunting AF.

looks like KLOTZ on the cable. But they don't do RT angle to RT angle...

YOu can use a single stereo 3.5mm - 3.5mm (TRS)
