Youre not far away from doing the eagles peak quest, its required anyway for the series, and by doing so, you'll get a natural form of transport (flying with the eagles) to take you to the other locations I think that should be your next goal and it'll also unlock some low level hunter training
Unlocking 13360 can get you access to Golden Warblers (they fly just over the chunk border) at 47 xp each. The northeast corner of the chunk works pretty well. At 17 Hunter, you can hop to Puro Puro through any of your unlocked wheatfields or Zanaris. Alternatively, you can clean fossils in the Varrock Museum for antique lamps (500xp each) for any skill over lvl 10.
So idk if you realized this since I haven't finished the video yet but you actually did have kalphites unlocked, there is a path through the lumbridge basement that leads to the kalphite lair.
I get very excited every time I see a new Trader Steve episode. Not only are you more regular than so many other OSRS RUclipsrs, the content is vastly different than others and very fun.
Honestly, it might be worth unlocking swamp lizards chunk. You need to have access to that chunk for a few quests anyway that are of major importance (Desert Treasure for example) anyway, and lizards can be some good early level exp.
I’d do swamp lizards all the way to 60 honestly too when you unlock them there decently fast for sure and you could bank them for some money just have a portal in your house to canifis so you can bank quicker
just a heads up, you can just buy a slayer ring a teleport to the frem slayer dungeon it teleports you inside at the cave crawlers so no chunks required to unlock but if you wanted to keep everyone happy just unlock the chunk for the cave entrance
Not sure how you'll do the start, but once you get to 27, you can always go unlock the desert treasure boss in morytania. There are green salamanders there and the xp rates aren't terrible for it.
For Hunter training it might be a worthwhile idea to start the Corsair Curse quest and then use the agility shortcut to get a bit deeper into the Feldip Hills hunter area. If I am not mistaken right now it would require 2 chunks to fully unlock and complete the Corsair Curse quest (which is needed for the quest cape goal anyway) and then 1 more to get into the hunter area if you are content with sticking to Weasels until 19 at which point you can snare the birds in this chunk. Certainly not the fastest way but it is one way that would ultimately only require 1 extra chunk outside of those required for a quest completion.
My idea for hunter, you can lamp and dunce to 14, then use hunter potions to boost to 17 and spam catch baby implings in the corner of puro puro, which is pretty quick xp at low levels. Should be like 4 randoms or so? In the mean time you can train stats for other quests or do some money making activities in areas that spawn events. Alternatively you could hunt for your own xp lamps? Top of my head would be Varrock Museum as I assume that spawns events, or you could do GOTR and pray for a lamp from the pouch rewards but not sure events can spawn there. When you get to 26 you can boost on swamp lizards to 60 if you want, although as others have mentioned different areas you'll need for quests anyway e.g Eagles Peak you can do them as well.
Just solely to be obnoxious you actually come accessed kalphites because there's a spot north of the goblin city under lumbridge castle that gets you to the cave with KQ
Capturing ruby harvest butterflies in jars & setting right click to release can be quick from 15-29. You almost have green salamanders unlocked in morytania, they are decently quick from 29 up.

I have a follow up on my swamp lizards. 1 more tears of Guthix or 1 varrock museum findings lamp will get you to 14 hunter. Then you can crop circle puro with a hunter potion and get baby imps. Then catch those to 26/29 hunter. Then only one tile for swamp lizards to 60. This way you can get 60 hunter with only one tile and not too much time not too much money. Every other method I can think of either costs too much or takes too long.
green salamanders 1 chunk from slepe are VERY good.. settled got 99hunter on them and it's real nice exp/h... or if u want just 60 and dont mind pain, maybe puro puro baby imp spawn camp
I was really expecting you to kill the greater demons in the sisterhood (nightmare) dungeon. It seems you have it unlocked with your chunks. Seems a lot more cost effective than the Entrana ones, however cool it was to see them get murdered for once.
if you have access to fairy ring, that place is easy to get but then again i dont think you got yet so gonna see in future if that would be something you could unlock beacuse it makes chunks needed way less so maybe your next goal would be unlock the fairy rings so you can have more chunks unlocked without needing to think about how far some stuff could be other than from closest fairy ring to destination
If you do X marks the spot and just START client of Kourend, does Veos offer to row you over to the SW side of Kourend, land's end? That would lead you to copper long tails and ruby harvest in 2-3 chunks. Then do zanaris implings once you hit 17 :D
Probably Corsair Cove into Feldip Hills birds into Swamp Lizards. That's how I'd likely approach it. Think it's 1 slot for the lizards, not sure how many slots for Cove into Hills though - could be 2 or 3. Could also unlock slot on south Kourend, but I would try to avoid wasting slots with no quest prospects.
Have you thought about doing dig site and bone voyage to unlock fossil island? And then start doing birdhouse runs? Otherwise the piscatoris area is a couple chuncks away which has copper longtails - 9, ruby harvest - 15 to get you started and is right next to falconry Depending on quests to, if your thinking about unlocking zeah up in piscarillius beach you can get small amounts (really small) of hunter digging for sandworms once you get 30% favour.
Why not do corsair's curse, you'd be able to bank in corsair, and have access to all of nearly all of feldip hills in 4 chunks. Many hunting options. The Rimmington ship would do the natural transport, like you did for Ardy.
hunter suggestions: 1- swamp lizards in the same chunk as the desert treasure 1 boss (1 chunk unlock) 2- lamp/ToG until 17 (get more QP for more time in ToG) then do puru puru 3- cleaning stuff in varrock musem for the occasional lamp drop couldn't think of any more, i'd go with nr 3 and then switch to puru puru, which could also be interesting as a moneymaker
You have swamp lizards already unlocked and you can use hunter potions to boost from level 26 to 29. That means you don't need to do anything insanely tedious.
Trader steves best slayer training should probably be just manning up and doing wildy slayer. Not only does it guarantee every monster is in the wildy. Most are able to be found in caves and the wildy has several natural transportation methods. Like 90% tasks will only require the wildy slayer cave or edgevill dungeon. Plus theres the 2 canoe spots, the edgeville lever, and the wildy obelisks. And some of the tasks here are best money in game for more chunk unlocks. And itd be great content.
I don't know the experience rates for catching implings in the impling nursery or whatever it's called which is easily accessible through zanaris. Might be worth doing some of that at least for a few levels?
Maybe, but the piscatoris zone is on the way to a quest area, so it might be necessary anyways, and falconry isn't that terrible as a higher level training method
He can't unlock new chunks with Teleports, only "natural" forms of transportation, so he'd have to unlock all the chunks between port piscarillius and west Shayzien in order to unlock chasm of fire.
I have a question about how you're planning to go about when sailing is released? So like that would be a natural way of transportation, right? Which means you would unlock basically all ports, etc. Counterpart; you would probably have to unlock a BUNCH of just water if it will function as we've seen so far
I'm rather confused about how the Fremennik Slayer cave was troublesome. You only need to unlock the one chunk for the entrance and you can get there via Slayer Ring or better, Fairy Rings. You mentioned needing to unlock multiple chunks so maybe I'm misunderstanding.
Surely worth unlocking a hunter area like feldip, lots of activities for a variety of levels, feldip also needed for RFD and you can get there with a glider / balloon

Also the falconry and piscatoris hunter zones are pretty close there, and on the way to piscatoris, which you will need for a couple quests anyways

For future reference you can access the kalphite queen lair through a tunnel in the dorgesh-kaan south dungeon.

Lost City Quest and hunt imps, only way I can think of getting hunter up relatively quickly without many unlocks. I could be wrong though.

It might be too many chunks for the digsite quest and fossil island itself . But you could decide to not unlock all the trap options on fossil island.

It would require a couple of chunk unlocks, but you could do bird houses! Would probably take fewer chunks than regular methods.
Birdhouse requires Bone Voyage which requires going to the WC guild on Zeah amongst other things.

You could do giants foundry all the way 1-99 and it makes millions. And unlocks a 1mill per hour loop with rune bars

For trolls. Fairy ring DKS and enter the cave towards dwarf city. There's trolls there and you'll need to unlock it anyway

You don't need to complete the quest to wield a fire shield. You just gotta start it

Wyrms are no worse than Turoths. You can just use the fairy ring to go south of the mountain so it's also 2 chunks.

No teleporting for first time travel. Only exception being natural transport. Ship glider air balloon etc.
