- The Asian Garden Mall, also known as Phước Lộc Thọ, is a popular shopping center located in Westminster, California. It is considered to be the largest Vietnamese shopping center in the United States and is a hub for Vietnamese-American culture in Southern California. The mall opened in 1987 and has since become a cultural landmark for the local Vietnamese-American community. It features over 200 stores and restaurants, including a variety of Vietnamese shops selling traditional clothing, jewelry, gifts, and other goods. There are also many restaurants serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine, including pho, banh mi, and seafood dishes.
In addition to shopping and dining, the Asian Garden Mall also hosts a variety of cultural events and festivals throughout the year. These events often feature live music, dance performances, and traditional Vietnamese ceremonies. The mall has become a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors who are interested in experiencing Vietnamese culture and cuisine. It is particularly busy during holidays and special events, such as the Lunar New Year.

Looks amazing! Thank you for the video!
Thanks for watching!
This is very cool! I really like how there is a great mix of food stalls and stores. It looks quite impressive!
I was here last year! I didn’t realize how large the mall was. Came here to get my daughter’s ears pierced at one of the jewelry shops (Hoan anh). It was a great experience.
I know this mall! Thank you for covering this!
I also would like to add that famous Vietnamese comedian, Van Son, use to have his own video store in Little Saigon. It’s closed down now and now, he also has his own RUclips channel.
Ahhh man, I love watching Van Son, even touring the cities as well. I know Viet Thao left the show for such a long time and started his own way on his YT channel.
Hi Chris. Thanks for the walking tour of the Asian Garden Mall. Most Asian malls tend to be a place where the community gathers for events. Great place to get some wonderful Vietnamese food. Thanks for sharing and take care.
What, you didn't stop at the bakery for a closer look! You're the best, we will definitely go here.
Yeah, In 2023 I was able to visit every Indoor Mall that was still open in Orange County and I gotta say, out of the 2 indoor malls in Westminster, this could be the smaller one but also the most interesting since it is a fun way to try out some new food.
Amazing video, chris! I actually live right near this mall!!
Neat!
I remember going to this location over 15 years ago. At the time, it was mostly outdoor shops filled with Vietnamese restaurants and shops. I loved going here to get a chance to try new foods.
I'm glad a lot of it is inside now.
Man i remember Asian Gardens Mall, used to get bootleg DBZ tapes and awesome dimsum. :)
Thanks for the video, Mr. Rainey. I remember going to Asian Garden Mall back in the late 90’s and early 00’s whenever my family came to Orange County for Disneyland. Back then, it wasn’t very nice inside. I also remembered there use to be a small arcade in there
Thanks gtown! Glad to bring back some memories!
Omg, I’ve freakin’ remember there’s an arcade place in there as well. I think it’s “Kids Korner”, iirc.
Thanks! Welcome to Little Saigon!
Thanks so much Sonny!
Ah yes, welcome the my favorite mall that I’ve been to for approximately 20 years. That’s the place where the night market will open between June and September. Hopefully you can visit that place again once the event is up.
I hope to be back 😀
I know this mall is always busy on the weekends. It is even more busy during Chinese New Year's.
For once I get a timely video. Roadtrip to socal on Tuesday, I'll have to get to Westminster! Must have good Vietnamese food! 🐷😂
Awesome Darryl!
My hubby and I went there to look for jewelry because we heard it was a good place to get a ring. They had NOTHING in my size. 😂
Doh!
It is not as large as one make out to be. Largest vietnamese mall ofcourse but compared to other malls its actually pretty small. Little Saigon in Westminster, CA is the largest vietnamese community in America. Yes there are Little Saigon and Vietnamese cummunity in other states or cities like Houston and San Fran but if you truely want ab authentic Vietnamese foods and experienced without going to Vietnam, Westminster, CA is the place to be.
Ah no fun if there is no pushing and shoving with deals just for me, today only, chasing me down the aisle.😅 (Can you tell I've been to Vietnam?)
Hah
Bet they have some tasty banh mi
I bet they do!
I found all the horses to be interesting, but no coin operated horses to ride on. What’s up with that?
Hah
I always found your videos pleasent but havent seen you on my youtube page for a long time, so I search for you and saw you done many new videos. Wierd I havent been recommended them...
Welcome back! If you "like" them more then RUclips will recommend more to you 😀
Unfortunately they recently got hit with a smash and grab.
In the jewelry area? Bummer!
You guessed it.
There have been more cases of smash & grab happening in Orange County lately, unfortunately.
Can anybody offer more information on the Chinese War God shrine? Any context for that tradition?
Welcome to the socialist communist of California 😂
